Wonderful school. I've sent three kids there --- one is out, one is a senior this year, and one is a freshman this year. Teachers are engaged and enthusiastic. Extracurricular activities are abundant. There is less cliquish behavior among the students than I recall from my own HS days. All in all, a great experience for my kids. In general, Georgia schools may get a bad rap, but Whitewater is an oasis in that desert.

I am a student at Whitewater and I love it. It is a great school to go to. It is Probably one of the best schools in the State of Georgia and the best in the county. even though Starr's Mill comes close (and still this i a good school) whitewater beats it when it comes to a nicer, newer, and better facility and building. The people are very nice at this school and very friendly (at Starr's Mill they kids are very snobby and cliquey) over all a very very good school to go to. and the community of Fayette County is one of the nicest and safe places to live.

I went to Whitewater high school and I loved it! The teachers are amazing and you will not find one who doesn't care. The students are very friendly and are willing to talk to anyone and make new friends whoever you are. Then conselors are great depending on who you get. Over all it's a wonderful school. Best years of my life!

The school has some amazing enclish and History teachers, sa well as fine arts instructors. As far as science goes, the whole department of teachers is lacking: low quality teaching styles, and not much as far as extra help or even compliance with grades.

My child transferred late September into Whitewater High. She was very far behind, at least 2 years. The school team, Assistant Principal Hill, Guidance Counselor McGavin, and teachers all worked closely to provide all services including morning extra help and after school. She is striving and now motivated passing all but one class which she is on the border of passing. The school works as a team and incorporate the parent into the plan to insure success for the student. I am very pleased with the school, the administrative staff, teaching staff as well as the school spirit which is instill in all.
