This is one of the best schools in Georgia! The entire staff is doing a wonderful job! The school's team spirit is outstanding. The parents and students are some of the best people in Georgia.

School has not even started yet and my incoming 9th grader and I are aleady in love with OLM! The administrative staff are wonderful, caring people and everyone who walks in become part of the OLM family. The students are caring and cared for. I will add to this review once school starts and I can comment on academic issues. We have met all of the athletic coaches and many teachers and it is obvious how much everyone cares and values this school and these students. I real find.

This is a school that has so much potential it still has not managed to live up to thus far. The current principal is better than his predecessors, but that's not saying much. He is great at marketing his school, but lacks the qualities needed to be a great educator/admin. Basically, hypocrisy abounds in this school. It starts at the top, and touches other offices including the athletic 'director'. He's typical of the current day coach/director: lacks inspiration, creativity, and thrives off the good ol' boy/girl way of leadership. It's too bad we still cannot seem to have the same quality of private education on the southside of Atl as we have on the northside. This school is better than Clayton county or south Fulton county schools, however, they are not worth the tuition they charge.

Certainly not worth the tuition charged. Hypocrisy prevails from the top down particularly the principal and athletic director. Yes, there are a few good teachers, but clearly there are not enough to rightly divide, and teach beyond the written directions in a textbook. One good asset is the small environment of the classroom. The students have the ability to cut through the clique mentality. However, as with any child in the teen years, there will always be that band of shallow-minds. All and all, this school truly is not worth the tuition charged. Perhaps one day we will have the caliber of private catholic or christian high school found in north Atlanta until then keep up the search.

I am very impressed with the diversity, academics, positive energy from the staff, and the athletic programs compete on a high level. The environment is like an extended family. By far the best move we could have made.

Our Lady of Mercy is the hidden gem on the southside. What a fantastic administration and group of students. From the moment you walk into the school you can feel the 'family' atmosphere. The students are polite and seem genuinely happy. If you are looking for a strong academics, a diverse population and wonderful administration then Mercy is the school. We could not be happier!!!

Our Lady of Mercy is by far the most diverse and well-balanced private school in Atlanta. It will provide a solid basis to prepare you for college level work without crushing your spirit. There is love and support for you strenghts as well as your weaknesses. And it is so much a family environment that many students socialize outside of school venues.

Our introduction to Our Lady of Mercy with our daughter, a prospective student, was a thoroughly positive experience. State-of-the-art facilities and interactins with staff and some students won over our daughter, despite reservations about our possible relocation to Georgia from a northern state. What impressed us as parents was a clear message that OLM is dedicated to developing the 'whole' child. While college prep is a high priority, the school is structured to develop students' physical, emotional, spiritual, and creative competencies..
