I had children at this school for eight years, since the day it opened. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family, all the way around -- great teachers, wonderful administration, open door policy, appropriate curriculum, adequate extra-curricular activities and just a great environment. I'm thrilled that my kids had such a positive elementary experience.

I have 2 children at Peeples and moved to this area because of the great ratings and test scores. So far we are very pleased with the school and the staff. Public schools are not what they should be, but this one is an exception!

My child just finished Kindergarten at Peeples, and I am very impressed with the quality of education he's receiving. The teachers focus on academics and encourage children to reason and use decision-making and problem solving techniques. Art, music and P.E. classes are integrated into their day, and the school offers an excellent After School Program. The children can play board games, sports, do their homework, play on the playground, etc. For a fee, children can take extracurricular classes at the school, such as karate, art and writing to name a few. The school also has a great media center and computer center. The level of parental involvement in the school is phenomenal. On any given day, at least one parent would be volunteering in his classroom (this was in addition to the para-professional and student teacher). Parents are encouraged to visit the classrooms and can even go eat lunch with their child.

Peeples is awesome! The school is very academically focused but well balanced with extra-curricular and co-curricular activites. Sandra Watson runs a tight ship but the test scores and student achievements speak for themselves. The fine arts program is awesome though I wish chorus could be extended to more than just 5th grade. Overall though, I have had 2 children in Peepels and it has been very positive for both of them.
