Chattanooga Valley Middle School

My son goes to this school. I think it is one of the most amazing schools ever!! It has many classes, teachers are very nice and sympathetic, and there is many technology. For example, every student gets to use a laptop. I think that is very great to have technology because our future will deal with many technology so our students will be ready for college, ready for work, and ready for life!

My son attended this school for the first part of the 2009 - 2010 school year. He was placed in a self contained class that had 6-8th grade students in it. I requested an IEP review to have this changed and was told that I could not. My son was getting d and f grades in the classes he was removed from the school at the first part of the second term and mad a and b grades in his new school when placed with a para pro. I am concerned that other child are receiving the same treatment at this school and am glad my son no longer attends there .

I went there for three years and always felt safe and most of the teachers were great at what they were doing. Since now they have the new school it is really nice, clean, and a great looking school. The new principal, Mr. Ward, is a good principal. He sets great ground rules and involves the students. I would recommend Chattanooga Valley to you and your children!!! :)
