GES is an amazing elementary school. I am so fortunate to be a GES parent. I love the teachers and the principle and I am also very impressed with the nurse Pam Stevens. I am so thankful that my child has a safe environment to learn and I trust that my child is always in good hands. I would recommend this school to all Jones County parents. Thanks GES!!
I have to say, this school is great. My son is a first time student here in 3rd Grade. His teacher Mrs. Shepherd has made him fill welcome. We moved from a county next door and the school is nothing like this one. I hope my daughter will love it also next year.
I love being a part of such a wonderful and outstanding school. It feels more like a family.
Wonderful School! The Administration is top notch. I am sorry that my son will be heading to Middle School. All of his teachers were excellent.
My daughter attends Gray Elementary School. She is in kindergarten. Mrs. Deloach and Mrs. Hayes are wonderful. She did not like the pre-k before she went to GEM, but all of the teachers, Mr. Patterson, Mrs. Pitts, have all of the kids best interest. Mr. Patterson is always walking around to make sure everything is okay. I saw Mrs. Jacobs, the Asst. Principal help a parent, whose SUV had stalled while trying to pick up her child. Mrs. Jacobs, along with another parent, pushed the car to the side where the other parents could get by to pick up their children. I have not seen any woman push a vehicle the way she did. I love all of the people at GEM and so does my daughter. Everything revolves around the children. The even have a little fish pond for the children. I could not ask for a better school.
What an awesome school! The parental support is unbelievable and the faculty and staff are the best there is. My kindergartener loves his school. His favorites, of course, are P.E. and Qwizdom. Mrs. Harrington does the Qwizdom program with the students and loves it! I have enjoyed my first year at GES as a parent. Not only am I a parent, but a teacher at GES as well. The teachers and principals at GES always have the students' best interest at heart. The curriculum is always changing and kindergarten sure isn't what it was when I was in school. Every grade is getting a little more difficult. I am glad my child is in such great hands!
I think that GES is a great school. Mr. Patterson and teachers are helpful. They understand the benefit of having a great learning environment that also includes a little fun sometimes. The school has added academic quiz bowl to the list of things offered and I think that is great. They also offer a summer reading challenge program and a summer vacation workbook is offered covering information on the grade the student will be going into. GES has always been a great school; however, they still seem to add something to make it even better each year. Thanks GES
The nurse Pam Stevens at Gray Elementary is outstanding. She has helped all the children there. It is a wonderful school and all the rest of the staff is great.
GES is an outstanding school. Before I moved my family to Jones County I checked their test scores and all data I could get my hands on. GES has matched their data and Mr. Patterson and his staff are tops.
I have 2 children who currently attend Gray Elementary and 1 who has in the past. Gray Elementary is a great school with great teachers, staff and a wonderful principal. The students, teachers, staff, principal and parents are highly involved in the school and there are many special activities offered throughout the year to encourage even more parent involvement. There has never been a activity at the school that I have attended in which the entire parking lot and lunchroom were not packed full of parents! The school spirit is abundant and the children are eagerly involved. Discipline is fair and the principal, Mr. Patterson, is a great role model. He does not merely deliver punishment. Instead he provides effective solutions, understanding, encouragement and positive reinforcement. The staff is very friendly, helpful and positive. I could not ask for a better school for my children to attend! Thank you GES!
