Grayson Elementary School

Our 3 kids attend Grayson Elementary, and are getting a great education in a wonderful, caring environment. The teachers are all excellent...I can't think of a single teacher that I wouldn't want my kids to have...and the parental involvement seems to be very strong. Grayson is a great example of what a public school can offer with good teachers, good leadership, and families that are involved!

Excellent school - caring teachers for the most part, and a wonderful community feel with lots of parent involvement, key to a great school. We are getting ready to get a new principal, so we'll see if that changes anything for better or worse.

I am very happy with the quality of education my chidlren receive at Grayson Elementary. My oldest just finished 5th grade and has commented about how much even he will miss the school. We have been blessed with extremely caring and dedicated teachers every year since we moved to the area 3 years ago so I am convinced it is the Grayson standard.

Academics seem to be of the best, with quality and concerned teachers. School cafeteria needs serious rehab, lunch periods began at 11:04, with kindergarteners starting at 1:45, this is very disturbing. Playground safety with low fencing on northeast side of school reveals potential security infractions.

Great school! This is my daughters 2nd year there and both of her teachers have been great. Very good parent participation at this school! I have nothing bad to say!

I am very pleased with Grayson Elementary School. I have 3 children attending this school. All of their teachers are wonderful and make learning fun for the kids. They communicate openly and care about the kids . It's a wonderful school

I feel blessed that my children have had the opportunity to go to this school. The faculty and administration are amazing. It is a huge school but they go out of there way to make each child feel special

All three of my children attended GES and received an excellent education from a caring staff. They have a faculty of well trained teachers, counselors, and support personnel. Plus, the PTA is very involved and tries to promote a positive partnership between parents and the school.

Three of my kids attend Grayson Elementary. I think it's a wonderful school with great teachers. In my experience, the teachers put out a little extra effort to have homework on the web, to make that phone call if my child is falling behind, and they're willing to make suggestions on how my child can do better. The one thing I really dislike about Grayson Elementary is their system for parent drop-off and pick-up. We need parent friendly planners and idea people for transportation options.
