I am a former attendant of GMS. I've attended this school all three years, from 6th all the way to the 8th grade. Personally, my first two years of being here were pretty good. My 8th grade year was more hectic and chaotic. I wasn't a student who caused alot of trouble, but there was alot of unneccessary things going on with me my 8th grade year. Of my entire time of being here, I honestly felt there was only two teachers that stood out from all the others, and that I can actually say I learned a great deal from. The school wasn't in the best of shape, in fact it was rather run down, but I still enjoyed my time being here. (MH)

I am a former student at Greenville Middle School and I actually enjoyed my stay. Since my time there I have noticed that even though we are a school in the rural and money was scarce, our test scores were better than those in the urban areas like Coweta. We actually had 85% of our 8th grade class to pass the writing test which was very good. Not only that but the lifelasting relationship with the teachers and administration staff are amazing. They have some great educators and the ones who want to see you not only graduate but reach you climax in life. I trully enjoyed my middle school experience and I wish I could come back but Iknow I have to grow older and make a differnce in this world.... But overall it's a great school.(Jessica P.)

Greenville middle school has a lot of growing to do. all of the students are rated below average when competing with students from surrounding counties such as Coweta and Fayette. Are we accepting the least qualified teachers on the market to teach our kids for the future?

My child is in sixth grade and she has had more problems with people bullying her. My daughter says the teachers seem to be ok though. I'm more concerned with the bullying though.

Since Mr. Johnson has taken over as principal I feel like this school has dramatically improved. Johnson has shown a great deal of interest in the student s well-being and the teachers have always been available for me when needed. My child was sick a great deal of the school year, however a great outreach from the sixth grade staff as well as from the BOE and Admin staff was given with full understanding and ideas to help keep my child on track and to succeed in this school year. I feel like at times schools and principals don't fit(just like two people who meet for the first time, however I believe that the two outstanding people in administration are fit for this school and are doing a great job with the students and staff! I want to thank you all for the job ypou are doing.

This school has been a very big dissapointment. My child has been here since the 6th grade, and is now in the 7th. Since she has been here, the principle does not seem to know what he is doing and is not handling school problems very well. I also do not like the uniform code. I believe that if the school district wants my child to dress according to their rules, they should be the ones purchasing the clothes that fit the code. Of course though, this is just my opinion.
