Anne Street Elementary School

My child was in Mrs.Harris and Mrs. Johnson's pre-k class this past year and it was a wonderful experience! You could tell how much they loved the children . The progress that those children made from the beginning of the school year to the end was incredible! Those ladies definetly know what they are doing, and do it well! Thank you for giving my child such a great start in school!!!

Teachers demean students and the administrators do the same If they didnt have parties about every friday maybe theyd pass the tests

Excellent teachers, improved scores on state testing

Both of my children have attended Anne Street Elementary and I have be completely satisfied with their performance. The teachers and staff are very supportive and make all efforts to include parents in the academic process of their child's education. They are a great motivating team for the students as well as the parents. It is because of this school that I have made many changes in my life for the better. I am pursuing a career to become a teacher and Anne Street has been very supportive of my decisions. With leaders such as the former principal, Dr. Judy Atwater, the present principal, Mrs. Evelyn Jones, and a host of teachers, my children and I have grown mentally, physically, socially, and spritually.
