My child is constantly bullied in this school and I am concerned about the foul language and sexual comments by the students. I feel that the teachers are overwhelmed and unable to deal with the problems and it is easier to ignore them. They zero in on small problems and ignore the larger ones.

I really love this school. I feel that the teachers are interested in the parents and the students. The principal of the school is not only a caring person because she honestly cares about the children but she is also fair and a very good listener when it comes to parental concerns. My concern is with programs available at the county level through the middle schools for these teenagers. The county should offer classes to parents and children both regarding teenage issues due to the fact that teenagers are very challenging during these years.

This is my childs second year at this school and he loves it. There is a zero tolerance for bullying and the stand by that. The teacher works extremely hard with the students in order for them to succeed. The principal is a woman that means busniess. She seems to do her best to implement rule, regulation and proceedures that work in the students best interest. My child is VERY quite, however he is so comfortable at this school that he nteracts with the other students and teachers in a way that I never saw at his other school. Special thanks to their accedemic support team. They do a wonderful job. Also their receptionist/front desk staff makes every one welcome. This is one of the best middle schools in Griffin and know it is only going to get better. Needs more extracurriculum activities.

I have an eighth grader in this school. If your child is a bully then this is the school for you. If your child does what he/she is suppose to but will not let someone bully them then I would suggest another school. Evidentally you are not suppose to protect your self and they can not protect you either.

I feel that Kennedy Road Middle is a wonderful school. My daughter respects the school and the teachers. I fee that the princpal of the school runs a tight ship. Which I agree because kids today need boundaries and they need to stay within these boundaries.

I have two children in middle school here. Since they have started their grades have dropped tremendously, their attitude towards this school is they are scared , they have withdrawn themselves, their self esteem has dwindled because staff tends to punish the kids that take up for themselves and choose to ignore the children who are bullies. I'm assuming because they don't want to deal with the parent. Our kids are here to learn not to constantly defend themselves from students and staff. Thanks, The Parents of 4
