I have nothing but good things to say about this great school. My two sons attended for 2 1/2 years and they love it. I was soooo sad we have to PCS. Amazing!!!!! Teachers and Great school staff!!! Great hours and great bus program!!! We live in the community in front of the school on Euchee Creek and my kids took the bus in front of our house and same for drop off. You have to go through the front office for everything pick up, visits etc. And car riders have to have a paper on front of windshield for pick up. We miss it sooooo much!!!

Cedar Ridge Elementary is a school prepared with excellent teachers, professors and administrators. Currently my three children attend Cedar Ridge after a transition from overseas to the states. My children had never been so focused on school as they are in Cedar Ridge. They look forward each day to attend school. Teachers are highly skilled and work hard to make the best of each of the children. The director is a great example of what being a great leader. CRE believes that children should be lifelong learners and responsible citizens. Cedar Ridge is a school where "everyone cares to learn and learn to care." Thank CRE to teach, guide and encourage my children and give them encouragement and confidence to be lifelong learners. In short this semester my children were: excellent care and education, excellent CRCT test scores, very good communication between parents and teachers, a lot of fun with the diversity of programs and activities and lots of motivation with incentive program with "hoot loots " ;-) Love it!!! Also, I want to give a special thanks to Mrs. Stephens (K), Mrs. Anderson (1st), Mrs. Watson (3rd grade), Mrs. Perry (music), Coach Allen (PE) You all are great!! THANKS

We LOVE Cedar Ridge Elementary School. My daughter has had a very postive experience with the school. They have a program that lets you earn "Hoot Loot." It is a neat reward program and the children really look foward to earning the "Hoot Loot," which they can turn in for many different things throughout the year. They have tons of fun and educational field trips throughout the year and lots of fun activities for the children to get (and stay) involved in. GREAT SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

My children have gone to this school since it opened and I am glad we will be going to a new school next year. Teachers have been great but, administration could use some help starting with the one at the top. A total disconnect!

This school should be rated higher than a 7/10. Our family moved to the area at the beginning of the school year. Before we moved, our two children had been educated in a private school. However, after we heard about the quality of the schools in the area we decided to give public school a try. Wow...to our surprise the children in this public school were actually ahead of ours in their education. In spite of this, the teachers created plans and helped our children get up to the same level as the others. The faculty and teachers were always in communication with us and our children are happy in this school. We made a great choice and they will be returning to Cedar Ridge this coming school year.

First off - do not judge any school from others reviews - go there yourself if possible and see things first hand. If you do - you will see that CRE is an excellent school. My oldest child has attended since it opened and now my second child is there as well. We have experienced nothing but excellent teachers and staff members all around. The PTO is highly motivated and involved. Any concerns are addressed and there is always an open door for parents to have the opportunity to see their children blossom. The principal is involved (my children run up to hugg her) and every para pro we have had has been kind and helpful. Nothing is perfect, but this school is very close. We have to move and I pray we find another school as wonderful!!!

My son attended kindergarten and will not return for 1st grade. We will do private or homeschool. His teacher was caring and tried, but his paraprof was cold. He was bullied by classmates and on the bus. I never saw the principal out engaging the kids. There's a color coded smiley-frowny face system that on a daily basis labels children bad or good in which the class knows what you are. I visit and had almost every kid in the class tell me what color my son was on thinking he'd be in trouble right then and get a show. I saw my son, a fairly happy child that usually told the truth, grow sullen, aggressive, & withdrawn with stomach pain and frequent illness. He began to lie constantly. That has slowly been eliminated over the summer and I see confidence returning. He didn't have these issues in KY Head Start.

My child began kindergarten the year that Cedar Ridge opened. We have been more than pleased with every aspect of the school. Everyone, from the administration, teachers, staff, and parents work hard to make this a great school.

My son attended Cedar Ridge for 1st and 2nd grade and I can't say enough about this school! All the teachers have email, which makes it easy to communicate back and forth, with out having to leave voicemails or make phone calls, which I love!!!!! The teachers also truly care about their students and seeing them progress! I live next door to a teacher at the school who had a baby and missed the end of the school year and she was truly sad that she missed the end of the year and missed seeing them get their end of year awards!! This school is great and we are going to miss being here next year, because we are moving back to TX, but this school has set a high standard for his next school to live up to!!!!!!
