This site is badly in need of updating phone & fax numbers! Evidently, you must call this school and listen to a recorded message to obtain their fax number!

My children attends Kemp Primary for the second year now and I have to say that it has been a pretty good experience thus far. They have had really good teachers who seem to enjoy what they do! They assign homework that is challenging but not too overwhelming. They encourage the children to excel academically and socially. They welcome parent envolvement in all areas. They offer a program for children who are gifted and those who have gifted potential (called High Potential-HP).

Kemp's teachers work hard to teach the children academic and citizenship skills. The principal is service-oriented and puts the students first. If you have a problem, start with the teacher, and you will find a workable solution.

This appears to be more of an alternative school. The children have not consequences for bad behavior.

I find the teachers appear to be overwhelmed and do not show love towards the children. It seems like it's just a job. Teachers are trying to meet their minimum requirements on paper, but not truly concerned with the well being of their students.

Wish we had another option. We are so dissatisfied were are looking into home schooling. There is no love for the children in this school. The assistant principle likes to turn a blind eye. You have to cut through a lot of red tape to get to either one...The principle or the asst principle. It's a shame.

My child started Kemp Primary for the first time this year. It was not my choice for her to attend Kemp primary but because of where we live this was the only choice. Registration was disorganized words was being exchanged back and forth between school counselor and one particular teacher which to me in my opinion was unprofessional. It is a lot of little things that I have notice in the last 3 months that has been a true concern for me. One being parent involvement. A school is as only as strong as the parents/teachers are and this is missing at Kemp Primary School.

THE quality of the school as a whole is great, some of the children need parent involvement due to behavior, the new books miss many pages for homework assisgnments, but the principal is a GEM and she can only do so much.

Perfect setting for young minds to grow without a lot of distractions. The primary concept should be more wide spread. You see a real community of learning. Kemp Primary School is the best.
