Hill City Elementary School

I have had 1 older child go there and 1 that goes there now and I have dealt with some very good teachers and some that are not. They like to talk about parents and kids and thats just wrong! Checking into home school or a private school to remove my child asap

My son has done very well in Hill City Elementary since he has been there and I am pleased with the level of education they strive to teach the children. There are more activity opportunies than I would have thought available for lower grades at Hill City. The school is clean and free of the mildewed smell of older schools and because of this my son's allergies have been kept in check. Because of the fine staff and continued push for a stronger education I would have moved if needed when the schools were redistricted last year. Parental involvement is strong and because of that you become familiar with the parents of the children your child is involved with in extracurricular activities. Except for a perceived lack of supervision in the after-school program I can not give the school a Perfect rating but all in all the school exceeds my standards.

Both of my children have been there since it's opening and have excelled in all areas thanks to the great staff and is lots of fun for the kids with alot of parental support and involvment, A+

We love HCES! My daughter was sent to another school and had to be moved back due to her health. Now she can participate in an healthly and safe enviroment.

I love HCES - My daughter started when the school opened and my son followed 2 years later. When I was redistricted to another school I got a job at the school so my kids could stay.
