Tate is a great school! The teachers and staff are like family to the children. The principal knows each child by name, and many of the parents. It has a warm, close feel to it. My son has had a wonderful educational experience for the past 2-1/2 years.

I truly feel that my children are getting the best education possible at Tate. I love the history of the school and the friendly and caring staff that makes you feel 'at home' as soon as you walk through the door. I'm impressed by the quality of teachers and that the staff makes an effort to get to know the parents. I think the 'First Day' ceremony is the greatest idea. Parents are allowed to go to school with their children on the first day. The children and the parents get to hear from the teachers exactly what the expectations of the children will be at the same time. Tate is the only school in the county that is doing this. It is a great way to start the school off being INVOLVED!

Tate has been a sheer joy for my son and my family. The quality of teachers and the terrific emphasis on reading have caused a positive improvement in my sons grades and love of learning.

My child has been attending Tate Primary for 4 years now. I believe he has had a tremendous jump on other kids from other districs due to class size and programs offered. He aslo attends after school classes and has some help from the teachers there with homework. The school is wonderful and I have decided not move due to his liking and learning from this particular school.

This is a school focused on academics and NOT play time. Children are encouraged to strive for excellence in learning. They are provided a friendly learning environment that encourages free thought and expression. The teachers are open and friendly and the faculty is quick to communicate with parents. The principal staff shows exceptional leadership as well as a caring attitude. I was impressed by their ability to remember each and every child s name. The school itself is beautiful and a perfect setting for a child to achieve their full learning potential. Classical music is played over the speaker in the halls. This has been scientifically proven to encourage learning ability. We highly recommend this school to anyone interested in the academic achievement of their child.

As a parent of three children one of the first things I figured out about them is children don't sit still for long periods of time, they talk all the time, and get boared very easy. We need to give them more time to excersise their bodies too. Excersise makes it easier to learn, makes your body healthier (missing less school) and I believe the children could sit and listen better if the were given more play time. Recess at 2:00 when school is at the end of the day is not gonna help. I also think that it is wrong to deny the whole class recess because a few children have misbehaved. I believe the children would behave better if they weren't in a chair all day.
