I enrolled my child at Lighthouse under the misguidance of Principal & Pastor. The A.C.E curriculum is effective if taught correctly. I 'm not putting down the L.A.C.A. system. I had a problem with this particular school -they babysat my child rather than teach my child. The Administration put on a song & dance for parents at open enrollment. I was one of the many that fell for their tricks! My child was an 'A+' student coming into Lighthouse & when I withdrew my child he/she struggled at their new school. I was very saddened that I &my child was misled by bogus report cards! The PACES books were rarely ever checked. The teachers were talented & caring- most of them resigned or quit for various reasons; one being that they allegedly did not receive their full wages. The teachers did not have the resources that parents paid for in advance. My child's PACES were outdated & used over & over again . I regret my child lost valuable time at Lighthouse. Do your homework on these people. They moved (allegedly evicted) over the past few years; from Southlake Parkway to Mt. Zion Blvd to E. Atlanta Rd. to God knows where? An old website laca.2thelight.org may help your research.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
