It's our 4th year in Shiloh Hills Christian School. My daughter absolutely loves her school and teachers. Every morning she goes to school with smile on her face, and can't wait to see her classmates. To me it speaks volumes, knowing that my child is spending her day in caring and loving christian environment. Teachers go above and beyond in providing great education for children. My daughter has excelled academically and socially in this school.

I agree with the last review. We were told 3 years ago Shiloh Hills was working to get SACS Accredited that year, three years later they still are not. You get what you pay for.

You should avoid sending your child to Shiloh Hills unless your primary concern is spiritual instruction, specifically in the Independent Bible Church, a fundamentalist doctrine Shiloh is NOT Baptist affiliated AND as mentioned in other reviews, legalistic. The Student to Teacher Ratio is more accurately, 15-21 to 1, until you get into upper school when students attrition may cause STR numbers to drop. Currently, many Shiloh parents and grandparents sub or teach classes and do so only with church approval, regardless of whether they hold a teaching degree or attended college. At Shiloh, you get what you pay for.

Based on the GreatSchool own review rating criteria with the exception of the Kindergarten, Shiloh Hills rates poorly unless: 1)You are seeking a cheap private school. 2) An alternative for a child who who might struggle in a pubic or more academically challenging private school 3) If your primary educational goal is a legalistic Shiloh Hills spiritual education. * "A great school has excellent teachers, Strong principle/school leadership and Challenging academic programs."

Last year was our first year at Shiloh after moving there from another private school and my two children couldn't be happier! The quality of the teaching and leadership at the school is outstanding and the sincere moral character of the staff is a beacon of hope and safety for the next generation in our troubled country. Incidents like bullying are non existent at Shiloh and all children there feel safe, loved and appreciated. The families are close knit and care for one another and my children have excelled academically and socially. I don't have enough good things to say about Shiloh! The school itself is small, and no frills, but for the cost the value is outstanding. We are bascially at two for the price of one from our old school and as long as crystal chandeliers and iron gates are not what you are seeking, the curriculum differs little from the other private Christian schools. The test scores are all at the top nationally. And best of all, Shiloh is a place where my children are allowed the freedom to be children, in the true sense of the word, with no pressure to grow up quickly, or be "cool", or prove themselves to other kids. It is a wonderful place!

I am a former Shiloh student who is now a parent of 2 children who have attended Shiloh since K-4 and another who is excited about starting this year! I could not imagine my children going any place else. The teachers are wonderful and believe it or not, some of them are still there from when I was a student. The dedication from the teachers to their students is amazing. My children have really enjoyed being a part of Shiloh and we are looking forward to introducing our youngest child to the school. They have exceeded our expectations and continue to do so!

This is our ninth year at Shiloh. We have an eighth grader and a senior. In a time where people transition in and out of schools on a frequent basis, we are often asked why we have chosen to stay at Shiloh. We love that the teachers know our children personally and are aware of their individual strengths and weaknesses. They use this personal knowledge to motivate them to strive for their personal best each year. However, the most important reason that we have chosen to stay at Shiloh is the degree of academic excellence that they have through all grades, most especially in Middle School and High School. We are extremely pleased with the academic progress of both our children.

We have been a part of the Shiloh family for eight years, it is everything we want for our child. The staff is commited to your child's education as well as thier walk in Christian faith. My daughter is so proud to be a part of SHCS, and so are we. The quality of this school is excellant.

A loving, supportive environment. Full of great role models in the older students. Teachers and staff committed beyond the call of duty. Affordable, academically competitive, well structured. Absolutely no complaints. Public middle school is such a mess, I will not even consider it for my younger child and she will attend Shiloh for middle school when she's done in elementary. My Shiloh 7th grader is the only middle school student I know who says when asked, 'My school is awesome!' Instead of, 'I hate school.'

My two kids have attended this school from the beginning. The educational quality us excellent. This school offers the same cirrocumuli (Abeka) as the more well known expensive schools in the area (Mt. Paran Christian and North Cobb Christian). Therefore, you get the same result at a much lower price. The school isn t fancy. However, the buildings are paid for which translates to good tuition rates for you. No money is wasted on superficial glamour. In 2006, the 3rd grade overall SAT results for this school were in the 98th percentile. The Kindergarten 2006 class overall SAT score was in the 93rd percentile nationally. I think that speaks for itself. Beyond academics, a Christian school does a lot to shape the character of the students. It s an environment of love and respect and that rubs off on the kids. The kids just turn out better overall. The teachers see their job as a life mission. Therefore, you will never find a more dedicated collection of people to influence your child.

Shiloh is a fantastic school. The teachers are great and have a heart for the Lord. I have had my three children there for five years and have been very pleased. SHCS may not have the best facilities but they have made many improvements and continue to improve as the Lord allows. The atmosphere in the class room is one that encourages learning. Shiloh has a great fine arts program as well as a great sports program. I would highly recommend you prayerfully consider Shiloh for your child.

This is for Kindergarten only. Mrs. Benefield is a 5 for teacher quality, not sure about the others. Mrs. Benefield is a caring teacher. The school lacks a little in getting information to the parents about important matters. School needs some refurbishing and needs a little more cleaning in restrooms. A little leagalistic but otherwise the people are nice and the tuition rate is very good.
