I am going to the 7th grade and that means only 2 more years at GNMS!! I don't wanna leave the awesome teachers. I had fun in 6th grade and now i'm ready to enjoy 7th. I hope this school year goes bye slowly cause next year will be my last year!!

I am entering the ninth grad and graduated from GNMS. I loved the people and teachers there and felt that it was a good place to be. I have made some life long friends there and met a few teachers that inspired me. The only things wrong with it were the fact that the academics weren't challenging... at all, the sanitation could be better and I recommend not eating the school food. The school over all was average. To me and if you have an exceptional child, grand child or you are, the school was just a baby sitting service, not an educational institution. The only thing that set it apart was the people.

I rate Gardner-Newman Middle School the TOP middle school in Troup County. The reason for my high rating is when my child first entered the school her 6th grade year we encountered alot of problems on the bus and within the school that we were not use to. My child would come home and would be afraid to tell me things that went on due to her knowing my goals and expectation of her in school and what I would and wouldn't toilatrate from her. When I called the school to solve the problems administration addressed the problem right then and solved it with fairness because they saw that I was concern parent that cared about my child and her education.I can truely say it is the same way now with the teachers and the new principal we have such a great communication line thats all it takes with the school
