My daughter is very happy at this school. Great teachers who are heavily involved with students academics and excellent leadership!

I worked at Crews for eight years and cannot say enough good things about the staff, our students, and their parents. The kids are well-behaved; discipline problems are relatively rare and can often be handled by the teachers, counselors, or with a phone call to parents. The parents are very supportive and excited about their children attending our school. I was very blessed to have worked there for eight years. I often heard parents say that they moved to our attendance area so their children could attend Crews and then Brookwood High School. What a huge compliment -- and responsibility -- that is! Crews is a wonderful place!

Crews Middle School is a really great school. The staff and teachers there do their best to help or create excellent students. I attended school there for all three years and I feel that they got me ready for high school. There is enough racial diversity from my point of view. The curriculum was always quite challenging and engaging. If you are looking for a good middle school in Georgia or Gwinnett County, this is the best place for your child.

This is totally the best place for middle schoolers! I also live in Flowers Crossing, and we can walk or bike to school.

Crews is an awesome place for a middle schoolers. They do offer great academic programs alongwith extra curricular activities. Teachers listens and strive for the best. The most important, they do challenge their students to bring bes out of them Communication with Dr. Botta is just as quick as making one phone call or sending an email.

My child is attending this school now. For the past year or so we have had a pretty good experience. I'm VERY happy to see a new chorus teacher this year with a professional demeanor. However, if you are looking for a well rounded school for your child who is African American, think about a private school as an option, socially as well as academically. Crews has a great staff but I do not feel that a sincere effort is made ensuring that all students feel apart of the school's social organizations and academic offerings. Parent involvement is a must, however it is VERY clique-ish just like the student body and can make you feel like an outsider. Find your niche for your child and stay close with their teachers for a well rounded experience. Other than this, I would still recommend the school academically. You can have a great experience.

Excellent School, teachers excel in their area of teaching. Principal, Dr. Botta is very friendly, hardworking, and a great principal. Crews is obviously number 4 in the state for a reason. It is also number 1 in the county.

The faculty and staff at Crews are outstanding. I have a 7th grader who has had a wonderful experience so far. The best part of the school is the orchestra program which is probably one of the best middle school orchestra programs in the state. Thank you for inspiring my child.

They do all right but you know some teacher r way to young and they act like college students sometimes and when they talk with their other teacher friends they don't act corectly.... Also some teacher are really bad at teaching the only good thing is the principal but how is he supposed to know how these people act cuz when they see him comin they act like they are so good at teaching ......... And crews has these really unfair rules....They can't chew gum....O come on !! some teacher are in thier class smakin the gum......... On and i was going to my class and it was like 3 seconds away from me and theymade me go the long way well peace out

What an awesome school! Yes, it's clicque-ish and yes, if you're a new parent to the cluster, you'll probably feel like an outsider unless you really make the effort to get involved. The parent involvement in this cluster is incredible ... just try and find a parking place for any event without coming early! :) Can't say enough about the academics and faculty/staff. They go above and beyond, come in early, stay late, email at all hours. My daughter has been in the Probe program thoughout middle school and the only downside I can come up with is that there are so many Probe students at Crews that the kids don't really see it as a big deal or an elite group. At the recent 8th grade awards ceremony, more than 1,000 awards were given out and 186 students earned the President's Education Awards program Outstanding Academic Excellence!

Crews is one the finest public middle school in the state. Crews has the finest teachers and staff. There is so much parent involvement that at times it's easy to feel like an outsider, but like in life one has to just find their niche. If you want your child to have a 'cultural experience' based on their ethnicity, perhaps a private school would be best, because all students are treated as students at Crews. Crews is a safe & stimulating learning environment. Just what a school is supposed to be.

I agree with the other parent. I feel that CRews is a great school academically. However, I do feel that it is challenging socially for African American students. The staff and administration do not seem to be sensitive to these concerns. I would not ask for special treatment however, I do feel that more should be done to ensure that all minority student groups feel comfortable. I also notice that the faculty does not represent the diverse make up of the student body.

It's not a diversified school and I feel that African American students there feel inferior to every other kind of student there. Academically I feel it's an awesome school even though there is such a fast pace for everything! Honestly I would want my child to go there because there's not that many behavioral issues such as fights. I just don't think that this school is the right place for my child because of the such low amount of African American students and staff.

Administration and teachers are always striving not just to be good but great. The principle Dr. Botta takes time to listen to parents, teachers, and student. You can tell from talking with anyone at the school they have high standards. Our child is thriving at this school in academics and personal growth.

This is a very good school with a loving staff and students. If your kid likes to go to any clubs he/she can pick from a huge amount or they can ask a teacher to be the sponcer for a club and just join! This school is also has a good curriculum and AKS. I am a student here and I enjoy it here

O.k., Crews middle is a hard school to go to. Not only is the criteria difficult, but the amount of work is overwhelming! Not that I'm complaining. I go to this school, and let me tell you, I've never been to another school that has pushed me to my breaking point before. This school has some of the best, if not funniest, teachers I've ever met that make learning fun. If you're thinking about enrolling your child there, then take it from me, there teachers will want to know you one on one and help you in any way possible. Even if they have to come in early.

This school is awesome! I am attending it right now and my teachers are Mrs. Rainwater, Mrs.Burson, Mrs.Whitten, Mrs. White, and Mrs. Ridley. These ladies are the best. Our principal is always helping the school and always has a hand out whenever you are in need.

I think my school is the best school on the planet! I had great teachers last year! I learned sooo much and scored a level 3 on all subjects for the CRCT! If you asked any student that goes to this school, I am sure they would say that their school is one of the top schools in the world! Every teacher tries their hardest to help a child learn! That is why I love my school!

My daughter attended A.C Crews for 2 years. Before moving from Boston, I was really involved in the P.T.A. On ce my child started school at A.C. Crews, I was never called for anything that I volunteered for except the 8th grade event. When I arrived to that, it was like I was not even there. Several other parents decided not to even volunteer that day because of the clickish people. This school is set up to stereotype the students.
