I am impressed with the counselors and student ratio. Students seem to be known by there name rather a number.

As far as education goes, I am more than pleased with the school. Most of the teachers go out of their way to educate the kids. There are a few exceptions to this though. When it comes to extracurricular activities, the politics and nepotism within the school is beyond unbelievable. The principal, Mr. Chaney, is less than desirable. He is more concerned with putting the wants of his child (who is a student there) above the needs of the school. And if any kind of conflict arises, he will avoid parents at all costs. The Marching Band program is a nightmare. The "president / Dean of Students" runs it with an "Iron Fist" and will make sure her daughter is given an officer position even though it harms the program. The Band Director is apparently controlled by her and she keeps him on a very short leash.
