Overall the teachers are great. But when your student came from a elementary school in a gifted program and be put in a gifted program you never had and they dismiss you after the 4th quarter and tell you student they can't get back into the gifted program for 2yrs. I think is wrong. Over all they don't test in the school in the gifted program they just assign them what they want to give them. My student is better in math, language arts, science. She has had A's in social studies but they want her to still get dismissed out of the program. Wrong I will be fighting fhis to the top. Also to much another stuff is going on . I have scene the police come to school cause a child didn't take their medicine. I am awesome they were volient.

It's horrible. Sure we get good test scores, but do you know what life is like on the inside? Unfortunately for our society, schools are now build like modern day prisons. One thing that drives most students (especially me) crazy, is the learning environment. In the classroom, there is only one small window by the teachers desk that only they can enjoy. The walls are cinderblocks painted white. Our lockers are less than 1 cubic foot. Everything is white. The floor, ceiling, walls, everything. We only have 20 minutes for lunch. We only have 4 minutes in between classes. We can't choose any of our classes. It's a prison from 9 am to 4 pm. We are even denied to use the bathroom! We are denied the most basic of necessities. School is not fun anymore. It is all regulated. Where is the life? The creativity?

I am a former student at TMS. I moved in the middle of the eighth grade, and it seems that I can't find a school in my area as great as TMS, the teachers and the student body are great.
