I attended this school when it first opened until the 8th grade. The teachers were cruel as were the staff, all of us students were terrified of them and they enjoyed this. We were hit, humiliated, and there was nothing that was celebrated unless it was fear. As a parent, I do not think I could ever send my children there after what I experienced.

Love the school, great teachers, Christ centered.... if you are not disciplined, you don't like structure and hard work this is not the school for you.

Killian Hill Christian is an amazing school. The teachers are very involved in your child s whole development. The kids really learn, they don t just memorize and move on. The entire staff, from the administration to the maintenance individuals are exceptional. The elementary school principle knows every child by name! I don t know how the man does it. You know that your child is getting the best when you drop them off every morning. I read a comment on here about pressure to join the sponsoring church, sorry fella never happened. They DO NOT request that you join their church, they do not even require that you be a Baptist. They will teach your child about our God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, no doubt about that, but there is no pressure. Every child is treated with dignity and respect. I would encourage anyone to visit the school just one time and you will see what a wonderful experience it is. Proud to be able to say my child goes to Killian Hill.

As a parent of a graduating senior, I would like to recommend Killian Hill Christian School to you for your child's education! We found the teachers to be kind and caring and always prepared, the academics were challenging and left our child very prepared for college, the sports were exciting and the Fine Arts Department excelled above our highest expectations. Because of her excellent education, our child received several scholarships that will pay 2/3 of her college education!

My daughter is preparing to attend for her 8th year. Each year I pray that we will be able to send her there another year. It is a great sacrifice for us to send her there, but we fully believe it is the very best school for her. I wanted to make a comment because of one negative comment I saw: If you are thinking of sending your child to KHCS; yes, they'd like you and your family to attend church somewhere, but NEVER have they put any pressure on us to join their church. There are children attending who are not Christians, let alone Baptists. Don't let that deter you. They will be taught Christianity - let that be clear. If you want an excellent education, involvement in the school, a relationship with the administration and teachers, diversity in classmates and learning (sports and fine arts) and a Bible based education in Christ, this is the school for your child.

I am a former teacher of Killan Hill Christian School. I taught there several years before beginning my own family, and trully loved it. The teachers are just as real in the classroom as they are in their personal lives. I love this school and hope someday for my own children to attend.

My child attended another private school for two years then attended Killian Hill. There is no comparison to what we are getting at Killian Hill. It is a superior school both in learning and allowing the parent to participate.

I have been so thankful for Killian Hill this year. It is my son's first year in school, and he wakes up each morning excited to see Mrs. Sailors and is bursting with news as soon as he comes home. The administration is top notch as well!

KHCS has been a blessing to my children. Came from Shiloh Elem. public school. My son's grades improved greatly because he didn't have to deal with peer pressure. My daughter became more focused in the classroom. Ms. Cantrell-2nd grade teacher is rated #1. Mr. Evans-Principal is a Man after God's heart and treats the children with respect and love. Killian Hill Christian School has blessed our family. A. Dunn

Killian Hill is a wonderful school. The Academics are first rate and almost all of the graduates go on to college. My son received scholarship offers of over $700,000 from the various Colleges and Universities where he applied for admission. There is not a better Fine Arts program anywhere in the state than at Killian Hill - Just count their awards each year. The athletic program is also good. The teams win a lot of State Championships in their conference each year and because the school is small it is not extremely difficult to make the teams. Because Killian Hill is small students have an opportunity to participate in a lot more school related activities, such as the school play, chorus, athletics, etc. One month an athlete will be playing sports and the next they will be in fine arts competition. Only at Killian Hill Christian School!

We have had 3 children attend Killian Hill. The education is high quality and SAT scores are equalivent to the best schools in Gwinnett. All the teachers and students respect each other and Christian standards of conduct reign. KHCS provides a very caring environment in which to learn. Our family is not affiliated with the church there and the children have never been pressured to change denominations. I have had children in all segments of the school. It is a great value.

Elementary was excellent, but not the High School. I always heard what not to do to make God mad instead of focusing on God's grace. There could have been more of a balance. The teachers were excellent though, and that made up for it a little.

I have gone to Killian Hill for 3 years so far. The teachers are of the best character and academic quality. It offers challanging courses and yet a very warm, friendly environment. It's honestly a good school with good people running it.

We absolutely love this school. The children learn - they actually learn, and it's not that they just repeat back what they were told in school. The focus is on academics though they do have sports teams (football, baseball, basketball, etc..) They have a good time in all and compete, but the primary focus is education. This is a college prep school, they expect students to learn and progress. I love the administration - they know all the kids names and treat them with respect. But they are firm when they need to be.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
