My son has been a student at Shadow Rock for the past 5 years, his teachers have all been excellent; this is evidenced by the fact that he is a straight A student along with many others in his class. The principal is a little different but the Assistant Principal is excellent one of her children has been my son's classmate for years. The one thing that I can unanimously say about Shadow Rock teachers is they CARE! As far as Parent Participation... myself and several other mom's are there all the time. I have received a Rose award every Honors ceremony all 5 years. It is an excellent school.
Shadow Rock has gone down tremedously! Administration does not address behavior concerns. Teachers are treated with disrespect on a regular basis from administration, students & parents. The school has low/no parental involvement. There is a great need for new leadership. Special education services are a joke.Teachers aren't given the proper training needed to effectiviely educate the students when new textbooks are given & when special need students are placed in the class. Teachers are unhappy & frustrated because of the lack positive direction, major school wide discipline problems, & just not being appreciated. If you don't believe what has been written, please feel free to come to the school and see for yourself.
Shadow Rock Elem. is a great school with an outstanding principal.
As a parent of two Shadow Rock students, I must say that I have been thoroughly impressed. The staff and faculty work hard and diligently promote a high standard of excellence from the students. The programs offered promote a comfortable, diverse and exciting environment for the children to learn. The principal, vice principals, teachers, and support staff are all deserving of KUDOS for the effort that they give to promote parent participation. I will be more than happy to have my third child enter into this tremendously enriching environment! GOOOO Shadow Rock Eagles!
I have two kids enrolled. I have been impressed with their progress and interest shown in the development of my two sons. I have a 7 year old male and a 5 year old male so far a great experience.
Poor for children with special needs.
I love Shadow Rock Elementary. The staff for the most part provides support to parents. The staff is constantly providing conferences and seminars to involved parents in the learning experience.
I love this School. This is my childs first year and she is doing great.
i think that Shadow rock is highly rated. This is the second year that my grandkids attended this school.the teachers and the counselors and pricipal are very much involved. They all are very caring and concerned for the kids.
