Our son is a rising senior at Covenant and has been there since his 8th grade year. This school is the most wonderful school for our family. He has had experienced teachers, taken advantage of the honors courses and thanks to the excellent preparation, has done excellently on his SAT. He has many outstanding options for college in this competitive economy. Additionally, the atmosphere of the school is fantastic thanks to the outstanding staff and founders who live out what they teach. The coaches of the sports teams he's participated in have been godly role models for him and the others, truly what teachers and coaches should be. Covenant has supported and echoed the Christian values we have taught our son, and he has learned through Church. We see the fruit of all our labors in him and the wonderful friends he has made at this school. Covenant is a unique blend of excellence in academics, sports and the arts as well as growth in Christian faith.

We entered Covenant this school year. We have had nothing but great experiences there, from the learning to the care given to our children. They really work hard to meet each child's learning ability whether the child has a learing difficulty to one that is ahead and needs to be challenged.

My son is in his fourth year at CCA, and we love it! Our youngest will go here next year. Each teacher is different; thus, each teaching method is different, even some I wouldn't personally do; however, each and EVERY year, my son has excelled academically, and he has said he thought he was the teacher's "favorite student" (this coming from a VERY active, talkative young man!). The school's slogan "We're not just a school, we're family!" is portrayed by the teachers/staff. They truly care not just for the students but for their families as well. In our tenure here, there have been several deaths in different families and eventhough I haven't known alot of them, how the teachers/admin. have handled each one, I have felt like they were part of my own family. We appreciate and love CCA & hope to keep both our sons here until they graduate!

My son attends Covenant Christian Academy and, after just a few weeks into his school career, I can honestly say I would not have him any other place. His teacher is experienced with early childhood and structures learning around physical manipulative age-appropriate activities. My husband and I are amazed at the growth in our son's imagination, vocabulary, and self-confidence in such a short time. They have worked very well with me in adapting to his speech problems and other priorities we have for his experience. I truly feel that they are supporting me as his parent, instead of expecting me to support them and their goals for my son (which is an attitude I have encountered in other schools). We are so thankful for CCA!

My husband and I are very disappointed in Covenant. We ended up pulling our sons out, and are currently spending hundreds of dollars correcting the damage. Diversity, appreciation, and respect for other Christian groups and ethnicities are poor. In addition, the academics for the middle grades offer weak preparation for high school. They've had problems finding EXPERIENCED math instructors for middle school. Many of the teachers are not capable of teaching to different learning styles or even care if a student does not get it. Complaints to administration often fall on death ears. On the surface, the school appears friendly. But, it's who you know here. You will find many in administration, teachers and certain parents in cliques. These relationships are strong and exclusive, leaving many of the families feeling isolated.

Covenant is a fun, exciting enviorment with good people and teachers that teach the value of friendship and honesty. In some points it can be hard especially is subject you already struggle in, for example, math.
