My 4th grader finish with an A avg in all subjects. My 2nd grader finish with an AB avg in all subjects. I have been trying to get my kids in the gifted program since we came there they never qualify, but they can't get in the after school program because their grades aren't low. I complained all last yr about my son's classroom and homework being too easy. Parent teacher meetings, meetings with admin, and a few trips to the superintendent. An my child did not meet state standards for math or english with his AB avg for the yr. To be exact I'm looking at his final grade report an he made 7 Bs all yr. The classroom can't move forward because of no child left behind and not in the right social circle for gifted. I have stacks of documents to support my opinion.
Great small town school with teacher that care.
