My brother and I are both graduates from Tattnall. I attended Tattnall for six years and my brother attended for eight years. It was a great experience. Tattnall offers the perfect blend of a faith based college prep education as well as fantastic extra-curricular activities. Tattnall definitely prepared me for college and I received early acceptance to UGA. I couldn t have been more prepared for the future.

WWe have been so pleased with tattnall square academy! Not only is it a wonderful school with a christian environment, but a second family environment! My children love it and are learning so much! Teachers listen to the parents and do everything possible to accomidate every type of child! To a parent that complained of bullying on this site......bullying is everywhere in every school...but, i know that the staff at tattnall does take care of complaints such as that! Tattnall is a great school that provides a wonderful education and is lower priced than other private schools in macon....we LOVE TSA!

Great school...caring faculty... committed to a quality education and an emphasis on service to others...we are one big family! I have been a part of this wonderful school for more than 25 years as both a teacher and a parent of two graduates that are now successful adults.

My children have benn attending tsa for 3 years. I have a child in high school, 1 in middle school, and 2 in elementary school. I was critical of putting the children in tsa at first but after becoming involved with the school i realized there is not a better fit for my family. As a former teacher for 5 years i want to make sure my children are getting the best education. The academics and sports programs are great. We are tattnall!!

I attended Tattnall for 13 years and felt very prepared for College and did very well. I would recommend Tattnall to anyone looking for a school who has teachers who care and will do anything to help your student.

I am a proud parent for over 10 years at Tattnall and plan to see both of my children graduate and attend colleges of their choice. The teachers and parents work together to make our school one big happy family and I'm proud to be a part of such a wonderful christian family.

Personally, I have found Tattnall to be very inviting and to be comfortable learning environment. I think the problem isn't with the programs that Tattnall offers, but the lack of concern the students express in improving their education. If you are looking for a serious education at Tattnall look beyond the courses offered for 'athletes' and acknowledge the courses taking by our top students.

I graduated from Tattnall several years ago, and am sad to say that my education proved to be severely under par upon entering college. The math and English departments in the high school are wonderful, but all other departments are greatly lacking. After two years of Spanish, I can barely form a sentence. My background in science is nonexistent. The middle and elementary schools are a joke. The Christian environment the school claims is hypocritical and false. Drugs, alcohol, and sex run rampant through both the middle and high schools. I would not recommend Tattnall to anyone looking at schools in Macon. While I did have some of the best teachers I could ask for, I know I was cheated out of a proper education by a school that focuses more on its weekly football scores than on the poor academic record of the majority of its students.

I have had children at Tattnall for the last 13 years and have sadly seen a decline in the quality of teachers and education that my children have received from TSA. I am looking for them to finish at another school.

I am a 2004 graduate of TSA. I have attended the school since 5K and it has become my second home. The teachers are excellent and there is no where else I would have rather attended high school.

Having transferred from Central High School to Tattnall to begin his junior year, my son and I have had one of the best experiences of our lives. This is what high school is supposed to be; you know, teachers that care, well behaved kids, secure atmosphere, emphasis on academics and strong, caring leadership. I can't say enough about what a wonderful principal Mr. Hester is. This man loves what he does and he honestly cares about his students. The teachers love the school and their students as well as being highly qualified. No school is perfect, but as far as I'm concerned NO other school is closer to it than Tattnall. The level of parent involvement is nothing short of amazing. You want the best for your child? Send them here!!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
