Excellent school. My oldest was there K4-12 and I still have 3 more there. Great student to teacher ratio. Outstanding leadership with accountability of students and faculty. Very happy with the positive changes the school has made over the last several years that have improved the organization, leadership, instruction and led to enrollment increase. AP courses and extracurricular activities have been added in recent years and have really improved campus life for the students and help better prepare them for the next level. Sports programs are very competitive in our region and state with several athletes getting recognition every year at region and state levels and opportunites to play at colleges.

Awesome school! The new management has been a VERY posittive influence on the school and the students. It has allowed the teachers to do what they do best. The christian environment is second to none and allows the kids the opportunity to grow and learn in an environement not available in the public school system. I would highly recommend this school.

The school is relatively small in comparison to the number of students enrolled at other privately funded schools. As a result, it is difficult to maintain a status level in comparison to schools where money voluntarily pours in by those that have it to give. But, this school has a Christian environment that is second to none and new management is bringing this school to new levels. With God, all things are possible - a level of education acceptable to all colleges and a love of the Lord displayed by a school staff that we should seek for all our children first and foremost.

Overall, I think CFCA is an okay school. I believe the school could be a bit more organized and communication between the school and parents could be better. I think that the school needs to improve academically. Presently, it does not offer any honors courses and only one AP class. There is a new principal and I believe she is trying to make things better. Also, I believe emphasis is placed on certain sports, i.e. football at the detriment of other sports. On a positive note though, I appreciate the staff and administration's sincere heart for the children who go there. I believe they do strive to help each child grow in their relationship with Christ.

I was a former student at cfca, but not a graduate, and I think overall CFCA is a school of good quality, but the students which attend there are at a disadvantage, compared to public school students. They don't have many clubs, classes, and electives to choose from. I think you have more opprotunities at public schools.

I graduated from CFCA a few years ago. I graduated 2nd in my class. And I can agree that the school is in need of better teachers and staff. The school is simply too big for the current qualifications of the governing bodies. Also if you are considering sending your child to school there, ask what the teacher turn over rate is. There is only one teacher in the entire high school who is still there since I attended. I didnt have to take remedial classes in college but I will say the public schools are at a academic advantage. I didnt even have a calculus class in my entire high school career there. I would also ask what the high low and median average is for the SATs for the students there. It will not be very impressive on a statewide or even national level.

I am a graduate of Central Fellowship Christian Academy and am here to say that I loved my years at CFCA. I came from a public school environment that I hated. CFCA was one of the best choices my parents made for me and my education. I'm in college now and am doing great. I didn't have to take any remedial courses or anything like that. I actual feel more advanced than most of the students in my classes.

I was very unhappy with my choice of sending my oldest daughter to Central Fellowship. She was in the top 5% of her class and needed to take remedial eduaction at UCLA! She also would come home everyday complaining that her peers were cliquish and unaccepting. Needless to say, I sent her younger sister to Northside High School. She was also in the top 5% and did very well at NHS. From what I've seen, most of the teachers there do not care whether or not your child learns a concept. Whereas in public school, there are endless oppurtunities for your child, such as free tutoring in the mornings, Advanced Placement college courses, and honors. Parents of CFCA, do not what so ever be afraid to send your children to public school. My daughter loved it!

At elementary lever I was somewhat impressed by CFCA but, as the years rush by and the tuition rises about $150 each year, I am starting to see that even parents in a christian atmosphere are grouped up and clickish(if you will). I had high expectations about these surroundings and for good old fashion country people we never seem to fit in. I am at 8th grade level with my child and we started at 3rd. I hope we will find a change this year.

My daughter is in her second year there. She is in 7th grade. We are pleased with the school. We will be enrolling our son as well when he reaches 6th grade. I only wish there was some sort of goverment grants or something to aid in the high cost of a good christian education.

Love this school - my daughter graduated from here last year. Plans to go to College in January 2004, as many grads from CFCA do also. The teachers and Staff are the Cream of The Crop. The Elite. You Cannot find a better School in the middle Ga. Area.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
