My child's standardized test scores actually FELL while going to this school -- he scored higher at the beginning of the year than at the end. I do not feel this school is appropriate for college-bound students, and the academics are not up to public school standards. Too much time is spent on non-academic, day-care-type activities such as coloring xeroxed pictures, blowing up balloons, watching non-educational movies, pre-school level crafts (toilet paper rolls & construction paper, etc.), and fund raising (such as asking local businesses to buy spaghetti dinners from the school). Homework is virtually non-existant. On the plus side, class sizes are small and the students do get more individualized attention for social issues. The For students with severe learning issues that will realistically not be able to attend higher education, this school would be appropriate. But, I think it is misleading to say that it is 'college

This school has done wonders for my child. After leaving monre county school system due to unsatifactory compliance with the IEP. The personal attention from the teachers and the small class rooms are just what he needs.

After having such a hard time in Perry Middle school, my child now wakes up wanting to go to Woodfield! He is making very good grades, the teachers are attentive and help him a great deal. He sees school as is should be.
