We moved to this school because of it's wonderful reputation. I actually went to the school as a child and then moved away. My children were in a very small private school and I was very nervous about their transition to a larger public school. The school staff worked with me and my children in the summer to help make their transition smooth. The staff listened and addressed all of my concerns with thoughtful consideration. They were helpful and understanding to my childrens needs and the changes they were experiencing. I am so pleased with the way this school stepped up and made my children's first public school experience so wonderful.

We moved to Madison b/c we were told this school system was the best in the area. What we did not take into consideration is that it was close to the bottom in the State. The teachers really focus on the children that are behind. Therefore, the children who are ready to learn new, challenging academics are still waiting for those to catch up. When we first came, the children in my child's class were just learning things that he/she learned in kindergarten at his/her previous school. My child was bored and for the first time said he/she did not like school. If I wanted him/her to be challenged, I would continually have to ask for enrichment. I thought that maybe it would be for only this year, but as I talked to other parents, they said they have experienced the same in upper levels of education. We have since moved.

Wonderful School. I went to school in Morgan County and now my daughters do. We have a great academic system and a wonderful staff.
