My son was in the special needs Autism /ABA class for two years. I felt the program was pathetically below standard - the structure, teachers, the environment. There was always an excuse to avoid doing anything - on the face of it he didnt need any services yet he was a student 'who didnt show' them he could do anything, it seems! Count our blessings that we have moved away from there!!!
My daughter attended this school from 2nd grade and is in 4th grade now, Ms. Kraeger s class. She is GREAT!! She is an excellent educator and guide. She has a genuine interest in her students and help them to excel in all fields to maximize the learning experience. Our experience has been very very positive. We have had excellent teachers and there are plenty of enrichment programs and opportunities for growth. This little school with a big heart will remain close to our heart!!
I have three children who currently attend Eastvalley, a fourth grader, second grader and special needs pre-k student. I love this school! I believe it is the best kept secret in Cobb county. I agree that it is a little school with a big heart! We have had excellent teachers and there are plenty of after school enrichment programs and opportunities for growth. They provide a very welcoming environment.
My son is in kindergarten, Ms. Magee is his teacher. Awesome is a mild adjective, she has a genuine interest in her students. I have found her to be creative recognizing the unique abilties of each student and tayloring her approach per student to maximize the learning experience. Our experience has been very positive.
My son is in kindergarten and has Mrs. Fortune. She is amazing. My son is very active so I was worried at the beginning of the year how that was going to go. My son is thriving, learning so much, and having fun while doing it. The principal, Mrs. Wacker is not just visible, she's accessible. Any parent in this school's zone who might be considering private school should give Eastvalley a try before they make a huge decision like that. I am very, very pleased on all fronts with Eastvalley.
It is a little school with a big heart!!
Eastvalley is a wonderful place to send your students. They have high quality teachers who work hard to meet the needs of each individual child! It is a priviledge to send your child here!
I can't say enough good things about Eastvalley. The teachers are there to teach and inspire the students. They love what they do and it shows! The school is small and able to work with students individually so they can learn in their own style. All three of my children have done outstanding there.
There should be more educators out there like Mrs. Fortune and Mrs. Winslett. Teachers who recognize when a student is in trouble and needs help. My son was a child who needed additional help and these 2 teachers were there to support him and our family, they were our only support. My son is now at a private school and thriving! Straight A s! I now understand what giving your child a good education is all about.
I am a parent of an Eastvalley student, and we have been very happy with Eastvalley. Both of our children attended and our daughter is still a student there. Our daughter's 4th grade teacher (Ms Smith)was wonderful, very hands on and kept us informed of our daughter's progress and encouraged parent involvement. Overall we have been very pleased with Eastvalley in every area.
