My student went to the high school and graduated from CCA. The small class learning environment, the reinforcement of moral values, and the teacher involvement, were highlights. He also was on the soccer team which was a great experience in group participation, whether a student was super-athletic, or average in skill. Great teambuilding experience with Coach Allen! The only downside for us was that there are no school dances. Personally, i feel dances are social events that need to be included for a student to feel comfortable & well-rounded. A prom just isn't the same social experience without dancing. There were several retreats my son went on that were very good experiences(he still talks about them!)
CCA's high school was a good alternative for us, rather than the larger, sometimes over-whelming public Cobb high schools!
Both of my children attended Cumberland and graduated. We were very pleased with the high school. The teachers were caring and gave a lot of individual attention to the students. My children felt very safe and secure.
My son attended the middle school campus and it was a very good experience. The HIgh School is very disorganized and has been a disappointment. It is not a secure environment and my son will be attending a new school in the fall.
