Ola Elementary is over rated~ We have been at ola for the past 5 years and it's ok. We have had some really awful teachers in the past, once my son was not allowed to use the restroom before leaving school and had an accident bc he was last off the bus, I was furious! My son was bullied and I brought it up to administration several times and noone ever called me back and did anything about it, so I taught my son to take up for himself and fight back! Now he isn't bullied, and no he's not a trouble maker either, he just defends himself! This year has been ok, both of my children got pretty good teachers, but there in my opinion isn't very good communication! Overall it's ok, not the best and really no different than any of the other school's in Henry Co.

Ola elementary is a wonderful school. We have been in the Ola school district for 6 years now. Mr. Stephens is a wonderful principle. The office staff and assistant principals are also great!

We have been so pleased with Ola Elementary School. The teachers are concerned with the students well being academically and socially. The principal is always front and center with everything going on at the school.

i did not like the school. they did not work with my son who was in kindergarten, yet was at a first if not in some areas second grade level. maybe it was just my situation but i found the staff in the office to be very rude and hateful! there was no reason for it at all. if i can do anything about it he will not be back at this school ever. we did get him into another school towards the end of the year where they worked with him and helped him excel. im sure there were factors in why we were all treated the way we were but it was totally and completly uncalled for! it was like dealing with a bunch of immature high schoolers.

I have two children at Ola, one in 3rd grade and the other one in 6th grade. I should have done that before, but it is never too late to do the right thing. Ms Parejko is a great teacher that I would not stopped to appreciate. She has great sense of connecting with children. I also have to say that Ola staff appears to be very professional. All my interactions with them have been pleasant. Thank you Guys, Good Job.

My children entered ola in the 4th grade and is finishing the fifth. Ola has provided a safe, warm and comfortable setting for my kids. The kids are excited to go to school, and participate in the many activities everyday. I am very happy with ola, and will be glad to recommend it to anyone who wishes to try the Henry County School System.

I have three children at Ola. 1st, 3rd and 4th. We recently moved to the state and specifically to the Ola district. We are very happy with the school, however the BOE is trying to rezone us to another district. I am fighting tooth and nail to stay. I'm very proud to the great job Ola has done.

Terrible leadership if you just knew. The Principal could care less about the students and is very rude. MR.O should still br there he actually cared.

I've had 2 children attend Ola the past 5 years. We've had great teachers and a few that just wanted to get through the school year. The principal is not too parent friendly and has a lack of concern for individual student struggles. The office staff was great. Overall its still probably one of the best elementary schools in the McDonough area. No regrets!

My son just completed Kindergarten and we couldn't be happier with the school. We actually moved from Stockbridge to be in the Ola district. Mrs. Dunn and Mrs. Hammonds were terrific! The involvement and caring was above and beyond. Everyone--from the cafeteria to the office--are extremely helpful and nice! What a joy to praise a public school again :)

My son just completed the first grade at Ola. I love this school. Every staff member that I have come in contact with has made a difference in my child's life. The cafeteria employees, the nurse, the librarian, the office staff; everyone has been great!

My son left Christian school and entered Ola in the 3rd grade. This is his 2nd year there and we love it. I think that if the parents work closely with the teacher your child will have a much better year. The principal is ok friendly but the teachers and ladies in the office have been great.

Very poor leadership by the principal. She doesn't want to deal with problems. The kids aren't allowed to be kids- and we wonder why they grow up to fast. The schools system makes them. A first grader should not come home with 90 min. Of homework.
