The teachers and curriculum are amazing. You couldn't find a better education in south Atlanta. The focus on public speaking, hands on learning and mentoring are wonderful. My two children love school, where they had struggled in larger class sizes previous to Heritage.

The admissions process is intense. It was not a good experience for my family. I'm confident that we will not move forward.

We love this school. It's our third year in elementary school now and we're excited about the upcoming new school year. The classes are small, the teacher are great. The foreign language subjects are way above average but I still would like to see more. The projects are so much fun and I love how history and math are involved in social living.

My children are not student yet, but I have had the opportunity to tour the school, and was very impressed. I am greatly considering this school for my children the 2014/2015 school year. I think the tuition is resonable, and the staff was really warm and friendly. I was really impressed with the art assignments, Its more than my children do at a public school. Overall, I am greatly considering The Heritage School!

We love this school :). We have been honored to attend this school now for 3 years and our (2) children have gained so much from The Heritage School. This school excels in educational advancement; offering to challenge our children in all units of yearly studies. The field trips are amazing and free until a supplemental fee in the 5th grade and each year thereafter. The art offering to all Heritage students is amazing!!! Frame worthy, and far beyond coloring sheets; Heritage students are learning art, understanding all firms of art and having an appreciation of its true art form. What a blessing!!!! PE is everyday!!! That is amazing and needed in all schools! All Heritage specials: chorus, computer, foreign language, guitar, music, are top notch and taught with superior instruction! We enjoy the offering of athletic opportunities at Heritage as well; an incredible option to fulfill all offerings for a complete experience at a private school. Heritage has exceeded our expectations for our family :) we are proud to be a part of the Heritage Hawks family... And when you come to visit our campus, you too will see and feel the family spirit our school demonstrates.

Very disappointed in this school. They promised to individualize to the student and teach to their ability. This was as far from the case as possible. He was advanced and they did nothing to challenge him. Communication with teacher and her ability to be receptive to his needs was non existent.

I think it is a fantastic school. Scholastic, social, terrific teachers, not just a prep school for a University but a prep school for life in general.

not to be harsh, but i really cannot believe this is considered 'college prep.' all of my teachers (and im in high school) baby the students and basically pass out grades. I can come out of a class with a high A without doing hardly any work. i feel bad that my mom pays $13,000 a year for me to go here and not be challenged. i went through a whole class one time without having a single test. i think it's odd that when all of these students become seniors and have gone to this school for so long, most of them can't even get into the college they want to. most wind up going to small, local colleges. BUT WAIT! if they've been going to this SOOO prestigious, high class, coillege prep school, shouldn't they get into the school they want to?

What a great school! I cannot say enough good things about it. Lots of Parent involvement is encouraged. The faculty and staff are wonderful people. My children love to go to school. They are both challenged and encouraged by the curriculum. We ALL enjoy being part of The Heritage School family.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
