Very disappointed in this school. They promised to individualize to the student and teach to their ability. This was as far from the case as possible. He was advanced and they did nothing to challenge him. Communication with teacher and her ability to be receptive to his needs was non existent.
I think it is a fantastic school. Scholastic, social, terrific teachers, not just a prep school for a University but a prep school for life in general.
not to be harsh, but i really cannot believe this is considered 'college prep.' all of my teachers (and im in high school) baby the students and basically pass out grades. I can come out of a class with a high A without doing hardly any work. i feel bad that my mom pays $13,000 a year for me to go here and not be challenged. i went through a whole class one time without having a single test. i think it's odd that when all of these students become seniors and have gone to this school for so long, most of them can't even get into the college they want to. most wind up going to small, local colleges. BUT WAIT! if they've been going to this SOOO prestigious, high class, coillege prep school, shouldn't they get into the school they want to?
I love hertiage if you like small classrooms and fun teachers Heritage is the school for you.
What a great school! I cannot say enough good things about it. Lots of Parent involvement is encouraged. The faculty and staff are wonderful people. My children love to go to school. They are both challenged and encouraged by the curriculum. We ALL enjoy being part of The Heritage School family.
