I'm a 7th grader there and i think it a great school but i dont like the fact that there a 2 hallways and you barely see the people on the other hall except for lunch and connections. The teachers are so cool alot are obsessed with sports though and its cool how some are coachs for sports. One thing is there are a lot of fights. Well this school is great send your kids here

I have no complaints about EMS at all. Our Daughter has done really well there, considering she struggled a bit at her last school. They are very 'military friendly' to those of us who move around a lot. The school staff are friendly, helpful, and the teachers I have met have been very pleasant. Brand new school which is very nicely laid out with different hallways for each grade. I highly suggest Evans Middle!

Evans Middle has a strong faculty that teaches the academic areas with professionalism and a real love for the students. This is evident with the amount of time and effort given before and after school. The faculty has a high standard and requires students to rise to meet those standards. It should be known that Evans houses the largest special education population and the teachers do an amazing job with the students with special needs and learning challanges. Because of the multi-tasked challanges throughout the school, Evans deserves an excellent review from a concerned parent, who is thankful for the life of Evans Middle School.

I think that Evans Middle school is 'OK'. I am in the 7th grade and recently 2 of my teachers quit. I think it is unexceptible. I also think the teachers are not so nice. I like the actual school building. Although it is old, its kept nice. I think Dr. Drake is doing a good job. The worst thing at Evans is discipline. Kids get away with too much, and the teachers don't really do anything about it. I think Evans band is great!

As an 8th Grader at Evans I am VERY pleased with the school. The teachers are great and over all it's a fabulous facility. I am at the school from about 7:45 (i run the school store) till about 5:30 (I play on sports teams) and I couldn't be happier with the school.

We moved to this county deliberately for the schools. Evans is the oldest middle school in the district and it is 'traditional.' Instruction in the core courses, such as language arts, math, science, and social studies, is good. French is available as an exploratory or connections course in the 6th grade and was so well-received that the school will offer french and spanish as a foreign language (for the entire school year) for 7th graders. Music and sports are strong. Boys must wear a belt and have their shirt tucked in. Students as a whole look orderly and disciplined.
