First I must say the Teachers at White Oak are great. They are kind, caring and do an outstanding job!! Thank you! The administrator is the issue here. This is the most unfriendly school I have been to. Parent participation in the classroom is not encouraged. In fact it is discouraged. When asked if I could participate in a special activity in my Daughter s class I was told NO, no parents are allowed. When I ask my Daughter if she sees any parents in her class, she says I never see any parents in my class.. Also there are NO field trips at this school. Then she tells me her only recess is at 2 pm, just before they leave. Five and a half hours without a break. Do you work five and a half hours without a break? My daughter told me that her teacher spends most of her time texting on her phone. Before you enroll your child here, be sure to get the full story on what goes on at this school

I have two children at White Oak and two who have now moved on to high school. All that I can say is THANK YOU White Oak!!! The teachers, administrators, secretaries, custodians, and lunch room staff have all been A+++ I appreciate the opportunities such as academic bowl, chorus, elementary track, accelerated reader participation, the gifted program, etc.... Due to budget, field trips are limited to the Centre for Performing Arts but at least those continue. Strong PTO organization that makes you feel welcome. Plenty of support for ALL children. Parents ARE WELCOME at this SCHOOL. Always have been.

This is my child's last year at White Oak. He started in kindergarten and we have had a wonderful experience at this school. Top notch principal who is very involved and always present and available. Teachers are of excellent quality. The school is always clean. I just hate that all the building upgrades are being done in his last year here so we cannot truly appreciate them.

I was one of 'those parents' who thought that I must send my child to private school. After touring several of the private schools in the area, as well as White Oak (our districted school), I chose White Oak. It has been a wonderful experience!

We have three children at White Oak now and are so pleased with the principal, staff and opportunities to work hard and learn much. We bought our home specifically to attend this school.

Friendly and competent faculty and staff . I'm always made to feel welcome. Good food compared to my school days. My Grand Nephew and Grand Niece are students here.

From my experience in Coweta County School System, White oak is one of the best schools in the county. They have a great staff that is always friendly and willing to help. Their school is clean. You are always welcome.
