My child has attended Hopewell since K5, she is currently in 3rd grade now. Hopewell has provided my her with a great educational foundation. The ABEKA curriculum is a rigorous program that keeps the kids challenged. My child has excelled on academically, socially and biblicaly. Compared to public school my child is more advance in Spelling, Science and Math. Thank you Hopewell for giving my child a great start.

I sent my kids to this school during the 2009 -2010 school. It was one of the biggest mistakes my family ever made. Maybe if your kids are really young and are still in the earlier grades they will do OK at Hopewell but if you have middle or high school children the heed my warning parent avoid this school like the plague. I moved my kids back into the public school system for the 2010 2011 school year and they now have a year of catching up to do. While my kids attended school there we found just about every other middle school child/parent had the same complaints about the quality of education that we had. I can t believe I allowed my kids to attend a full school year there I should have pulled them out earlier.

My child is a graduate of Hopewell Christian Academy. I was very pleased with the principals, school administrators, and teachers. They were very involved with the children academically and spiritually. They inspired the students to do their best and were very encouraging in many ways. I have referred this school to many of my peers because I believe in the academy and the goals that they have set for our children. Our children can do anything and all things with Christ and in an environment that brings the best out of them. The environment fosters love and growth. The teachers are exceptional I am anticipating enrolling my granddaughter in the near future.

My son is in 2nd grade and he was blessed to have Mrs. Manning again 2 years in a row. The curriculum is excellent. My son's vocabulary list is harder than my 9th grade daughters, and he learns them. I love the small environment and the teachers treat you like family. The principal is a very encouraging man and the students truly respect and look up to him. I am so sad that our family may be moving this summer, and I will have to withdraw my son. The school has been a blessing on my son's behalf. Thank you Hopewell Christian Academy!

I have been really impressed with Hopewell Christian Academy. My son has made a compelte turnaround and is now excelling. The small schools (approx 200 students) really allows the students, teachers and parents to be very active in the lives of the student. The school is the cleanest School I have ever been in. The staff and treachers really care, turnover is low!

I loved the school for being strong academically and Biblically but I was disappointed in the staff and the way they do things. They are in many cases unfriendly and unhelpful. There is also some leadership and communication problems that can be a hassle for the parents but can be dealt with in ways that do not effect the childs experience.

I rate a 7 (on a 1-10 scale) for education, but a 2 for staff and administration.

I happy to know that my daughter attends a Christian Academy with strong religious and academic values. We look forward to her continuing her education at Hopewell and the continuous improvements plans the schools has moving forward. As a parent I look forward to the school competing and measuring its performance to other public, state, and private school standards. Which this will requires some hard work on behalf of the parents and faculty at Hopewell. As a parent you have my commitment to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

I believe this school is a wonderful environment for christian values and academic excellence from k4-1st grade. 2nd grade and up the curriculum starts to fall apart. They have instituted music and sports for extracurricular activities but it is in its primitive stages at best. There is a lot of parent involvement at the school. The administration needs some help from the administrator to the principle. If you have issues they may not be addressed in a timely fashion. The troubling thing about the upper grades is that the administration does not enforce a strict code to follow. Children have been caught smoking marijuana after school and were not immediately expelled. For a drug free christian school somethings should be unexceptable and non negotiable. Again k4-1st grade your child will excel at this school and have a strong christian and acedemic basis to go on from there.

This school has enhanced the christian foundation we as parents have made a part of our everyday lives. It is absolutely incredible how the curriculum incorporates christianity in every learning experience, while maintaining a high excellence of achievement in academics. It is a blessing to have our daughter and son enrolled in such a nurturing christian learning environment. We are blessed to have a choice of where our children will be educated and we chose Hopewell Christian Academy because of the excellent curriculum, christian based learning, nurturing environment and well qualified educators and administrators.

Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
