Adamson Middle is improving because the administration does seem to care about the students. Yet, I found that some teachers found it difficult, and yes frustrating, to deal with several students with serious disciplinary problems. This is especially true, when students threaten the teachers, including substitutes, with the statement, Oh, my mom will curse you out and the principal. Yes, I agree that one should apply different learning techniques, to see which method is the optimal match for the overall learning style of students. But if a class seems to be full of students who have serious disciplinary problems, then it makes it harder for class instruction to take place. Parents and educators should acknowledge this. Overall, there is a need for more positive parental involvement in the school, so that the teachers feel that each parent is supportive of his/her child s learning.

The school has gone through a lot aof administrative changes over the last two years. In spite of this my son loved going to school daily. The principal always greeted me with a personal conversation and his teachers truley cared about what they where doing. It could be very easy for me to complain about little things as many parents do, but I choose to get invoved through the PTSA. I am looking foward to my daughter coming there next year.

Uses group discipline, teachers do not seem to care about individual students, lacking good administrative personnel, not informative to public about school events.

This school needs to improve the learning environment and the learning quality. Higher the standards which are set for the average student. Develop a closer student to teacher relationship so that no child will every be left behind.

The school has come a long way. Could be better if more parents were involved and showed more concern for their kids. A great group of fathers called D.A.D.S started patroling the school and it has made a difference. It would be great to have D.A.D.S at other schools as well. Either you are apart of the solution or apart of the problem. Thanks D.A.D.S for making a difference.

School is OK. Teachers don't encourage student and put them down. Some of the teachers are mean and not caring of the students. Teachers are too serious and don't try to bond with students to find out how each student as indivisuals learn.

This is an OK school. There is alot of racism from students and teachers. The teachers put down the students and do not encourage them. The grades are low and the teaching equipment is poor. I was not pleased with this school.

I went to this school and when I was there it had a very high expectation as of what grades you had to make to be in an extracurricular activity. This is one of the things I like about this school.

Motivated, involved and caring teachers with VERY LITTLE administrative support. Extremely high teach turn over rate due to poor administrative leadership. Lots of extracuricular activities. Many students seem to need motivation and a 'hand-held' teaching approach.
