Heritage HS is by far excellent....growing in year with each and every sport but most off all in CLASS and respect. My daughter attends and will be one of the first classes that started in Heritage Middle and will be one of the proud choice individuals to graduate in 2012... The first to attend both schools from the beginning. Looking forward to next year as we will be stronger and go all the way. GO GENERALS

We have an AMAZING school! Not only are we extremely lucky to have gifted and involved teachers and principals, the students are a large family. We support each other whether we're a jock, band kid, or a member of the Academic Bowl. Our band ranks as one of the best in the state, having eight All-State players, tying with two other schools at first place. We have an astounding athletic program, winning several championship titles. Our principal encourages each student in their individual way, whether it be pulling you out during math to wish you luck on a writing test, or in assemblies. We say it all the time, and it's a true phrase. "It is GREAT to be a Heritage General!!!!"

I have four children in the Catoosa County school system. My 14 year old is presently a freshman at HHS, while my 13 year old is an 8th grader at HMS. I have found that the teachers, the administrators, the lunch ladies and even the librarian, have been extremely easy to communicate with, and when matters of discipline have come up, the school has been fair and just. The focus has been on turning the kids into independent, critical thinkers, who are prepared for college and for life, not just on passing aptitude tests. I have been impressed with the amount of encouragement there is to get parents involved, because I think everyone understands that at the end of the day, the child's real education begins and ends at home. I have also been impressed w/the amount of education there is for parents, showing them the resources in the County.

I have two daughters enrolled in HMS at this time, and have found the school's administrators and teachers to be very responsive and fair with both. They have treated my children fairly and respectfully and have helped both to develop self discipline, and to honestly speculate about and plan for their futures. They have grown academically, have developed outside interests, and are growing into fantastic people. I know that their upbringing in this house has been the main reason, but I also know that the main body of their time now is spent in school - and that school has been a wonderful extension what we already value. 5 Stars!!
