Because they help children learn by thinking outside the box. They teach them that they are not "supposed" to learn a certain way and they can succeed at school.

because of there no nonsense attitude toward those who do not follow the rules. They are kind but do not tolerate rule breakers There leaders are top of the education wheel. The most progressive school for those that need some extra help. They meet the needs of all who attend.

Two of my siblings would NOT have gradauted high school if it werent for The Cottage School. I now work there to help with fundraising because I also would not have graduated high school if it werent for a school like TCS. They help kids who have given up and think they are stupid to re-gain their confidence and learn what they need to to move to the next step.

In the 5 years that I worked at The Cottage School I saw many amazing student transformations. Students who would begin the school year, head down not speaking to anyone would transform into these beautiful butterfies!!!

The kids there are great and well rounded and the parents are so appreciative of the staff who take such an investment in those kids.

The teachers are amazing! The administration continually looks out for the best interest of the children. They truly want the students to succeed in school as well as in life.

This school has helped my nephew tremendously in just a short amount of time. His self-esteem alone has improved 120%. Up until this year he has been in a public school and was struggling, now he is learning to deal with his austism and moving forward.

I have never seen a more dedicated and caring staff. Empowering those who have a truly challenging path.

The Cottage School does a wonderful job in educating their students with the required curriculum while at the same time building self esteem and helping students see the "possibilities" that await them.

I like the cottage school because it focuses on supporting alternative learning children to be self-reliant, independent, and personal leaders. It is importatnt to me that my child learn from his experiences and grow to be a healthy citizen. The Cottage School sees the possibilities in the child and not the limitations. They support the learning and hold the child accountable.
