I am following up FCS due to the Head of School and other faculty that we had issues with are still at the school. Everyone needs to know this school allows anything to happen and brutal abusers go unpunished. This school did ABSOLUTELY nothing with a bullying case just a couple of years ago. They let the students go unpunished and never even told the parents they were putting bruises on other kids when the bullies admitted everything they did.
I feel compelled to let people know that the Heads of school that allowed this are still there and your children are NOT in a safe environment. They punish kids for not wearing a belt but do nothing if a kid is getting hit in the stomach and groin area.
This school should be ashamed to put "Christian" on the name wheres they are nothing that resembled a Christ centered school. Their admission has sunk over the years and surround private schools have waiting lists mostly from FCS trying to get out.
Don't say you were not warned.
You will find very talented teachers and unskilled ones. Over time the warm welcome turns into a hostile environment if you disagree with any policy, procedure, decision or communicate a poor experience. For parents who are looking for a school to check their kids into so they can check out, this is for you. For parents who treasure their role and responsibility to educate and nuture their choldren, be prepared to remind the staff of their roles. There is no diversity in race, beliefs, interests or any other defining characteristic. Sadly, the school prefers the homegeneity. You can definitely do better.
We are finishing our K-5 experience at Fellowship and looking forward to the new world of MIDDLE SCHOOL! i wouldn't trust my child to the care and teaching of a public school at all. Fellowship upholds and instills our values and is helping us all raise some fine kids to send out into the world upon graduation.
