Our children attended HSES for 4 years. It was wonderful. There is a very active PTA, the administration is very involved, the staff seem happy to be working there, and though our children had different strengths, they were challenged in their own ways. We really liked the diversity of students, income, staff, and experiences. It offered a true reflection of our community. The children had cohesion within the school that surpassed any other differences they had. We were sad to move out of HSES's district. We had a very good experience there.

I have two children at Hembree Springs and I have found it to be a wonderful environment all around. The children are learning so much more than I did as a child and the teachers and staff have high expectations of the students. The teachers are caring and able to handle students at any level and the principal attends all school functions - so great to see that! The school welcomes parent involvement and the kids love having adults around. My children are more excited for school to start than they were for a beach vacation. Hembree Springs makes school enjoyable for children by creating a wonderful learning envirnment and a place to make lasting friendships.

Love this school! The principal, Ms Raju is awesome! Knows the kids by name. The teachers are wonderful as well. Great support from the parents and PTA. Starting our 2nd year there and I'm amazed at how much he learned the 1st year.

We have been so happy with the leadership of Hembree Springs. We hear so many terrible stories regarding cliques and behavior at our other local schools, but the atmosphere at Hembree is positive and the school leadership is fair and responsive. The staff goes above and beyond what is expected of them and their is a great community feeling at the school.

My child is in his third year at Hembree Springs. So far, I have been amazed by and very pleased with his teachers. They have been very positive, professional, and dedicated to students. He learned to read in Kindergarten and is reading well above grade level now. Kali Raju is a wonderful leader. She knew my child by name in the first few months of his Kindergarten year. She is very welcoming and open to parent input. I've requested to meet with her personally on several occasions, and she met with me and truly listened. This school is providing an outstanding educational experience for my child.

Hembree Springs is a wonderful school. The principal and the assistant principal are both strong leaders who lead by example with a balanced commitment to academic excellence and a love for children. Their staff embodies that as well. At Hembree every child is important from the ones at the top of the class to the ones struggling to learn a new skill. It is about inspiring students to build a lifelong love for learning. Children, parents and sibling are known by name and are made to feel welcome and part of the school. Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated. My child has learned so much in the two years he has been there. He amazes us and he amazes hmself. What more could you want for your child but a place where they are seen as an individual and encouraged add supported to do his/her best?

My child has moved to middle school this year and is doing very well there. I attribute this to the excellent education/work habits my child received/formed at HSE. The principal's leadership is outstanding! She is very accessible, pro-active, and hands-on. My child was nurtured, challenged, and encouraged by some excellent teachers as well.

Granddaughter moved in with us and started this school after the Christmas break. She has integrated beautifully from her prior Montessori school. Communication lines are excellent. I am impressed with the advanced curriculam.

We love Hembree Springs Elementary. Our daughter attended a blue ribbon private school before starting HSES in second grade. The level of eductation she now receives has surpassed her previous school. She is exposed to more technology, advanced placement classes and cultural diversity then she was before. The principal, teachers, and staff have been warm, caring and nurturing to our child. We feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful school/community.

We just moved to the area about 4 months ago. I was worried because I had to move my son who had just started Kindergarten at another school to Hembree Springs in the middle of the year but the school has been great and my son absolutely loves it. They have made him feel at home and special and his teacher and the principal have treated us w/ great respect and consideration. He has learned so much in the little time he has been there. I would highly recommend Hembree Springs!

I stumbled on this website by accident and thought I should speak up about how much we have been pleased with Hembree Springs Elementary. I had wanted to send my kids to a private school but a job loss changed that for us -- and what a blessing in disguise! We love Hembree Springs. My oldest just graduated from there, completing six years and what wonderful years they were for her! My middle child is a rising third grader and we have had a wonderful experience with her as well. As with all teachers, styles were different, but every single one of them showed that they cared for my children. Ms. Raju and Ms. Miller are hands on administrators who have proven they really care. The few concerns I have had (about 3 over the course of 6 years) were addressed immediately! The Machado Family

Both my daughters attended Hembree with the youngest graduating this year. The teachers, administrators, nurses and the principal Ms. Raju are fantastic. Very concerned and know almost all the students. Academic programs are very good. Both girls went from non-readers to advanced readers - scoring very high on standardized tests. There are not very many extracurricular activities, but we live in Roswell and use Roswell Area Park for extracurricula activities, so I didn't mind. It's a wonderful school and I highly recommend it!

I abosolutely loved this school. My child attended this school for one year. There's no comparing at all. Hembree Springs is hands down a more inviting environment and more tolerant of diversity. I would have loved to keep my child at Hembree if it weren't for our move. The teachers are excellent and they truly care about your chilren.
