This is a great school! We have two children at the FSA. The teachers are fantastic. They are highly qualified and extremely motivated. Academic standards are high but our children have thrived, whereas at our local public school our children weren't living up to their full potential. Science is hands-on and taught by teachers with a passion for the subject, math teachers are great and the music and art teachers are also outstanding. The after-school clubs and field trips are great. Our children are so happy at this school. The smaller size and great administrators also help to make this a great environment for my children.

The academics at this school are far and above what my children were receiving at our public school. They are being challenged by teachers that have great ideas and great ways to teach. The teachers are allowed to use their imagination to come up with great teaching projects. They go on at least 2 field trips to enhance their education. This is our second year and we are happy with the school. No school is without its faults. The biggest one I see is the principals lack of effective communication. Although others in administration do a great job. They also need to increase the number of classes/teachers or reduce the number of students accepted to keep class size low but it's still better then the public school in that respect. They have also improved the carpool tremendously.

Not all of the teachers are certified. Many of their accents are very hard to understand. MEN always run the schools. One of approx. 120 Turkish Charter Schools across the U.S.. Your kids learn a lot about Turkey.

Fulton Sunshine Academy is great. Its small environment is perfect. Actually, the uniforms aren't that bad. It's cool to (for instance) have a science and math teacher from Turkey. That way, you can learn about their culture. This is a great school.
