I love this school its a home away from ome for my little one!! The entire staff is awesome and are very involved with the kids. Hate to see it close down.
This school has been an excellent experience for my children. The principal/vice principal, teachers, and all staff members are wonderful to work with and make the kids feel special. We consider ourselves very lucky to be going here. My children are advanced in every subject and are treated with respect. We have had such a positive experience here in every way. I would pick this school over a private or charter school hands down.
We moved here in the middle of my sons 2nd grade year and it took some time to adjust but because the class size was so small it took no time at all. He was able to have more one on one time with the teacher and the other staff here. I love this school and will hate to have to leave it.
This school is a blessing to my family. The combonation of a great teaching staff with a caring administration can't be beat. My daughter is very happy and is on level or above in all subject areas.
The staff here is incredibly loving and upbeat!! Brown is a very Happy environment where each student is cared for and urged to reach their full potential!!
My daughter is going into her 2nd year at Brown and I have to say that I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! My daughter has excelled while here, has taken part in many different activities, and the staff is great! The principal Mr Ward is very dedicated to his students. He is always available to talk to the parents and is truly an asset to Brown. By this being the smallest school in Cobb County, the kids are known by everyone, the teachers treat them like family and I will be sad to see my daughter finish her last year here. Brown Elementary ROCKS!!
This school is very small and very personable, everyone know everyone,It fells like a family enviorment.
Brown is the smallest school in Cobb County; the count for kids for 2005-2006 is 204(there's only 1 5th grade class!). The children receive more attention than schools that are over populated, and everyone knows everyone, literally! The most frustrating thing at Brown is the county's lack of funding for the school, since funds are allocated based on the student count. Thankfully the PTA and local businesses are able to provide where the county lacks. The Principal, Mrs. Parks, is great!
This is a very small school where staff, faculty and administration care for children. They take time with parents and grandparents. They make new students feel at home even in the middle of the school year. I give this school a very good rating.
My children have been a Brown for one full school year. So far it has been a great experience due to the small class sizes ans the one on one they recieve. My daughter has progressed futher at Brown than her last school. I do owe credit to the teachers and staff at Brown. charlene saunders
