My child just started Kindergarten. I was somewhat concerned about this whole idea of starting school. However, the school environment, the teachers and Dr. Lynch the principal who is always available and present made me feel very comfortable. I am very happy with my child's teacher, she is very involved and caring of each individual child. My child is also already involved in extra curricular activities. It feels like the school has always something nice planned for the students to make learning fun and to keep them in school.

The staff is so friendly, I moved here from Michigan and i have never found more of hard working friendly people, the things they have to keep parents involved its great.

Continued- We should be extra careful about what we consider better. I know many families who have their kids at " better " schools but they are also running their kids back and fouth to court because the kid caught a case. Parents- We are the first teachers- stop pointing fingers. At the end of the day it's all about politics and a tracking system. Get involved- get in the game- or sit on the sidelines.

I have two children at Partee ES. I am very impressed with the teachers and staff. They believe in the greatness of each student. The teachers challenge and motivate my children in unique ways. The school is innovative, dedicated and moving into 2010-2011 with new ideas and great plans. I am very pleased to have my children at Partee!

I love my son's fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Alvarado. My son comes home every day telling me something new he has learned. I know that he has fun, and is learning too. Recently he told me about a food web b/c they created one in class. He finally loves going to school!

This is our second year at Partee. This school has excellent teachers that are very dedicated! I've driven past the school around 5pm and there are still MANY cars in the parking lot. I would bet that most of the complaints on here are from parents that are not involved at all. I have helped out in the classroom numerous times and have seen all that goes on during the school day. I read a comment below about homework. I think we should all remember that WE are the parents and we are responsible for our children. If you don't think your child has enough homework....then go online and find more work to challenge your child.

I am so pleased with the experience our family is having at Partee! Great leadership team, with quick attention to details, needs, and concerns. It is nice to see this school moving in the right direction for our children.

Poor leadership and very little order.

The staff is incrediably rude and inept. Just picking my kindergartener son up in the car rider line means he is yelled at by no less than 3 people to hurry up and get in the car. The teachers seem like they just don't care. They just do the minimum to get through the day. I am so disappointed in my child's first school experience.

Gwinnett County requires so much testing that even good teachers can barely teach. Teacher quality at Partee is getting worse. Too many changes in administration. The school seems to have no personality or direction. Teacher morale seems low, some only lasted one year. Not a positive environment

It is a public school that is having a hard time with the demographic. The teachers are trying hard, but I believe the system restricts out of the box thinking. The principal left mid year. I question the lack of homework and was told most is done in class.

We have had four children at this school. We were there the year it opened in 1997 with two in fifth grade one in fourth. We had such horrible experiences that we put our youngest in private school grades K thru 3. He went to Partee 4th and 5th grade 2003 - 2005. The school has gone from bad to worse. I have put my youngest back into private school as the public schools in the Shiloh district are truely unable to do the job with which our tax money pays them to

I think Partee Is A Great school! I moved here from N.Y. in 2005 and everyone at Partee is so nice. My son's 3rd grade teacher Miss Bumpers is a very Good teacher. So if you are thinking about sending your children to Partee you won't be sorry. Its a very good School!

I have found the curriculum at Partee to be absolutely awful! We moved here from California and have been appalled by the level of work our 2nd grader was given. He is doing the same work that he was doing in kindergarten in Ca. Our son is even in the honors program at Partee and still brings home work that our 4 yr can do! He has regressed terribly by attending Partee. The level of communication with teachers is just as awful. After, 5 emails, 3 phone calls and 14 letters you would think you could get at least 1 response! His teacher speaks in ebonics, leaves the kids unattended in the classroom and refuses to meet with parents when requested. They have had no field trips, art, music or computers. We pulled our son out & home schooled him for the rest of the year. He will never go bsck!

Partee Elementary is an excellent school. They have great teachers, and a great principal, that are committed to bringing out the best in every child. I have 2 kids in K,1 and 2nd grade. My experience with the school is that they continue to explore new ideas and ways to bring out the best in each child.'

Truly a fabulous school. Administration provides excellent leadership. Staff is a loving group dedicated to our children. All embrace opportunities which come with change. Active PTA with many opportunities for parent involvement. I have 3 children, 2 currently at Partee. We've been at Partee since it opened. I am grateful to have been a part of this wonderful school. -Barbara Agar

The school is very stand offish if you are not in their district. My son got to go there for one semester and his brother had to wait to find out if he could go to which was very unnerving and unwelcomeing. I believe the school was apprehensive due to the behavior of my older son which did improve after the a couple of months.
