Great School! My grandson was doing poorly at [another school] due to the size of their classes. He started Echols County School in the 7th grade and makes mostly As and Bs now. He graduates this years and was named in Who's Who this year and received a request from the Naval Academy to submit and application. He was also recommended by one of his teachers for an Art Scholarship at VSU. I though that says a lot for their teachers since they don't even have art classes at Echols. I highly recommend this school!

This is my son's first year in school. We were blessed with an outstanding kindergarten teacher and her assistant they go way beyond to make sure that my child is successful. I wish that I had the same feelings on their administrators. This is a small town and this will be my son's last year with Echols county. I want my child to be able to learn in a normal class room. It is my job as his parent to make sure that he has all the skills to be able to make it in life. There is not enough diversity in his class and when he goes to high school I do not want teachers holding his hand. I want my child to learn how to pass without holding his hand. My goal for my child is to attend a major university and they are not going to hold his hand.

This School is one of the very best in South Georgia. There is only about 800 kids in the whole Pre-K thru 12th grades! this allows the students to be given individual guidance when they need it, and group guidance from close friends!

We have a great school, but they should offer more for kids interested in the arts. The teachers really care for each child and their success in the future. They go beyond the call of duty for the children in our county.
