Mattie Lively is a great school. Teachers encourage parent involvement and administration is very aware and involved in each child's education.
Although there are a handful of good people at Mattie, overall the quality of the school is not good. Teachers are burnt out. Administration is only interested in how the school appears, not how the children or parents feel. Parents are excluded from being involved, except when the school wants to raise money. Volunteering is by invitation only. Making the children feel that it is their school would go a long way.
Mattie Lively is a great school with excellent faculty. The teachers and administration really care about each child, and do everything they can to accommodate each child's learning level.
