All the tearchers are great. It takes someone special to work with children with special needs. They have done wonders with my son. I couldn't ask for a better school. Thank You to everyone at Statham Elementry for being so kind and caring to me and my children. I have seen so much change in my son from all the special needs classes he reccieves.

My daughter loves the school. Before we moved here from out of state we toured the school with the assistant pricipal and it was in the middle of a remodel, and it look like it needed some new paint. The school turned out beautiful and my daughter is now in first grade and loves her teacher. Her kindergarten teacher was awesome also! I can't wait until my other daughters get to go to school there when they a little older. Way to go Statham Elementary!

Our family moved from another state and we picked this city because of it's great school system. Statham Elementary exceeded our expectations. Our daughter was in Kindergarten last year and her teacher was phenomenal. I was very pleased with the level of interaction between parents and teachers. I am also pleased that Principal Mac Almond is such a forward thinking person and he does truly care for his school and students. The teachers are great and class engagement is very noticeable. My daughter justs raves about this school and her teacher. I am sorry to see that a parent left such a discerning comment about the school. I just see her situation as an isolated case and I can not imagine that this school would offer such terrible services. The public bus drivers are even great. The school system overall makes Barrow County a great place to reside.

Statham is a wonderful school, small but growing rapidly, with a new addition that opened this year (2007). I have an 8-year-old son who has been at SES since K and he absolutely loves school. All the staff anywhere in he school remembers and calls him by his name and that makes him feel special.

We transferred out of the Gwinnett County school system and I am very pleased that Statham is a much smaller school. My children love it there. On their second day I was very pleased to see that the staff recognized my children and even remembered their names. The teachers are very involved with the children and love their jobs. Statham is a very nuturing enviroment and I am proud to send my kids there.

I have my oldest daughter attending Statham Elementary, she is in Kind. We have been so pleased! I love the fact that the school is small, it makes her experience so much more personal! Mac Almond is an amazing principal and the teachers are incredible! Lots of parent involvement, I love to volunteer and help out! Statham Elementary has been great, we look forward to sending our other two daughters there soon!
