These reviews on this site are old. This school is OK, my children are now in 1st and 2nd grades but it really depends on which teacher you get. Some of the teachers there who are older and have been in the system are more like robots and really need to move on, while others are fresh and really care about your child's education and well being. I am currently looking to move from our home to benefit our child in a better way because it seems like the higher our children go in relation to grade level, the worse it seems to get. Get ride of those teachers who have tenure, those are the ones who really just skate by and do as they please, and really are not interested in your child.

I love this school because the administration really cares about the kids and the quality of their education.

Austin Road is a terrific school and teachers are very freindly and outgoing! The school's PTO is something that more parents should be invloved in, it really does wonders for your child, you cant complain if you can't get involved!! Mr. McNealey is a very smart man and Mr. Knowlton is as well, they make the best team of principals around!!

A.R.E is a very nice and welcoming environment for chldren and parents alike. The nurturing environment makes it easy for any child to thrive socially and academically. The teachers and parents work very closely together on school and community events. My children (first and second graders) have done very well (in all aspects) at this school. I would however, like to see a more comprehensive music and arts program. If i had to rate the current ones, i would give it a 'c'. The schools overall grade would be a b-.

I have to say that I love this school and all Dr. Consolie does. I currently have children in second grade and kindergarten and with each year this school seems to get better. The 'visitor' policy is great and the discipline is the same across all grades. Some may think this is unfair, but I think you should teach children lessons young, before they become 'set' in their ways.
