My daughter began attending VOF academy K3 recently beginning with the Summer. I agree that the bookeeping is a little unorganized to me since no one ever reminds you of when your tuition is due or anything. This can be good for the parents but bad for the school. However, the director is nice and most of the teachers are very loving to the children and they take them on really good summer field trips (i.e. Fernbank, Lake Lanier, Jump Oasis, Yellow Stone Park, etc). I did observe one teacher get frustrated with a child and shake her to stop running. It was inappropriate and I did report it to the director who ensured the issue would be addressed. Other than that, I am looking forward to the fall when they began teaching again using the Beka Curriculum. She will be required to wear uniforms and I am hoping to enroll her in ballet through the church. So far, I am satisfied with VOF and have no REAL complaints besides the bookeeping. All I can say is to keep up with your receipts and talk to your child everyday to see what they did during the day. My daughter seems to be doing a lot of coloring in the lines (an improvement since she began at VOF) and she now recognizes her name.

I also was a parent that was told the day before graduation that my child had a balance and I also paid the balance prior to the school year starting. How could you tell a parent the day before and literally pull a child from a program because of your disorganization. My child wil not return next year, I will also no longer be a member of this church it is unreal. Administration is horrible. The teachers are great but bookeeping and records are not. If I had a balance you definitely would not have allowed my child to continue with school.

VOF has an awesome Pre- k teacher. The Pre-K teacher and her assistant are an awesome duo. Your child will be very well educated. As far as the asministrator she is approachable yet has no balance. I was a parent that was told the day before her childs program that her child could not walk due to a balance that was paid in full prior to the year starting(paid to the administrator) At the very last minute when you decided to send my child on the stage it was to late and she missed her chance to walk across the stage and cried her eyes out. As a parent I am more FURIOUS with the administration and bookeeping of VOF. My child was held in the office with the admin as I waited for her to walk across the stage. IT WAS TO LATE.....

VOF is a nurturing school. They care a lot about their students and teachers. The administrator is approachable and compassionate about what she does and what the school stands for. The school is sensitive to each student's needs and communicate as much as they can to the parents. This is one school worth sending your child to for a life time investment.

I have a son who is 4 and is currently enrolled at Voices of Faith Academy and a daughter who is two and is enrolled at Voices of Faith Daycare. They have been at Voices for two years. I have been extremely satisfies with the Daycare experience. The staff is the right balance of loving care and structured education. The environment is one of family. As a Christian, I really appreciate the biblical instruction.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
