This school is great! The teachers really care about your grades and their willing to help you with your problems... The students are very diversed in terms of ethnicity, so nothing about this school is really 'getto'. I was a freshman last year and I must say the upper class men were so sweet and didn't bother me at all. As for education this school offers great AP classes! We recently took a path of academy where you get to chose your academy based on what you want to be... This school prepares you for college and the future very well! The only downside is that the rules can be strict sometimes...

Although some teachers are more challenging than others, this school is top-notch in my book. I have five children and all of them attend the Lanier Cluster of schools. When we moved into the area the Middle school had just opened and my children were some of the first children to attend. My oldest daughter graduated for the High School and has made history by being the first graduating class of 2011. The teachers in the Lanier cluster want your children to do well and provide all the necessary tools needed for them to succeed including tutoring. I could not see my children attending any other school cluster.

Lanier High is absolutely a top notch school. The staff, teachers, coaches, and especially Principal Mrs. Wing have created and built a cohesive, creative, challenging, and helpful environment for the students and parents. Mrs. Wing is at almost every event the school participates in. She truly cares for the students and her staff through the support she shows when she is present at school events. The community involvement is supportive and welcoming. Truly a great school for students and families who want to get a solid education and have a positive high school experience.

This is a great school!.. The administration and teachers care about the students, and are willing to come up with creative and fun ways to learn. My daughter has flourished since coming here. She is an average student who sometimes has to be challenged to excell, but the staff are always willing to keep in contact with me to make sure she is maintaining tthe level she is capable of. The teachers don't give up on the students, and the students know that. I would highly recommend coming here if you can.
