Wow!!! Where do I begin? Fourth District is a GREAT school. A small school setting with mounds of achievements. This year, 2010, Fourth District was selected as 2010 National Title I Distinguished School. One of two achievements awarded in the State of Georgia. Let me repeat... 1 of only 2 schools awarded this unsolicited achievement in the State of Georgia!!! Now... WOW!!! How is that for a description of Fourth District Elementary School? I have had two children to complete Fourth District and my third child is currently in 3rd Grade... I think Fourth District is GREAT! Keep up the good work FDES staff... you deserve the BEST!!! We love this school. It's almost like a private school, because it's small and it's not in the middle of town. The principal treats each child with respect, and seems to really care about them all. The teachers are great - their doors are always open for parents, and they are very good at teaching the kids what they need to succeed. Also, I feel my children are safe and protected there.

The best school in southeast that we've attended. The principal is very child centered and very involved in the learning that takes place. The teachers are all first class. A top notch school!
