I absolutely loved my four years at collin hill. After moving from state to state i begged my parents to let me stay at one high school for all four years and i was so fortunate to have landed at collins hill. There are so many opportunities for students to take advantage of but it's definitely up to the student to get involved. Their 'no tolerance' policy speaks for itself. I can count how many times i witnesses a fight or a misbehaving student in all four years i attented. Collins hill definitely prepared me for college and this year i'll be a junior at the University of West Georgia and owe it to the preparation i recieved at collins hill.

Excellent school--great leadership and teachers, many extracurricular activities, much parental/community involvement.

My son will be graduating this year from Collins Hill and my daughter is an incoming freshman. Collins Hill has been a wonderful experience for our family. We have had good experiences with the teachers. Are there some my son liked better than others, of course! However, he has been successful in all his classes. I was thrilled when I saw that my daughter had 2 of his former teachers. Yes, it is a large school but that gives many opportunities for a student to find their niche. Our family has found their place to belong in the CHHS band. If you're looking for a high school with a good band program, look no further. But if band is not your thing, Collins Hill offers top notch academics, athletics, clubs, and other fine art activities.

Our son will be graduating from collins Hill High next week. It is quite a large school and offers many different courses of education for a diverse student group. We had one bad experience with a teacher but the rest of his teachers were quite acceptable. Many of them go WAY out of their way to make the classroom the BEST. If you are not happy with a teacher ...go in for a talk...do not wait. I am also a teacher by profession and have always said that the students are only going to be as good as the expectations their parents set. Our community is an active one and most of the students reflect its values. The teachers themselves are doing a good job of preparing the students to succeed. Our son was accepted to every college he applied to and even recruited by some we had never heard of.

One of the best schools I have ever seen. As a former teacher I know quality schools when I see them. I am very fortunate to have my children attend CHHS and I would have paid to have them go there. CHHS has been blessed with two excellent principals during the time my children have attended. It is an accepting oasis where students achieve and feel comfortable. Of course the Band is excellent!
